  1. Hello guys, so I bought a EVGA G3 650W for my msi gaming x gtx 1080 with coil whine hoping it would stop the coil whine as I had a crap 60$ psu, but I still have coil whine even with fps locked to my screen (72hz) so Im using sleeved cables for the gpu so maybe that can be as last resort?
  2. Well yeah I could get the corsair rm 750x or the evga 650 g2 but I've read the EVGA G3 is good
  3. You guys think that EVGA G3 550w is enough for a overclock r7 1700 and gtx 1080 ti?
  4. Yeah I know it isn't very good. Im going to try removing the sleeved cables. This is so weird because now Im farming with the game running smooth but it just doesn't makes sense the other day I thought it was fixed but no its random sometimes you open the game with stutters other times no... doesn't matter either if theres action on the game or if your watching in front a wall
  5. Well also the game runs locket at 60 fps because theres no way you can't disable it even if u put it on nvidia settings
  6. Well I tried overclocking and it doesnt matter either also theres some videos on YT with this same config playing the game
  7. Only the game it gets still for a instant like 0.5s its like stutter. The cpu is barely at 20% Well but wouldn't then be like lag? Not the game dropping to 2 fps for an instant as I saw on msi afterburner I just formatted my computer and installed this game only
  8. Hello guys, I don't really know what more could be, I have microstutter(I think its called that) in Black Desert Online, game runs fine and high fps, but sometimes it just do instant freezes, played Overwatch and League but they run smooth. I've tried reinstalling Windows, older drivers, every setting in nvidia panel, SSD, HDD but still stutter on BDO, no matter if theres fighting or walking more or less action I get game freeze for 0.5s its an instant but annoying. Im thinking, maybe its the PSU? But I had it on before on OC RX 480 + Ryzen R7 1700 so it still consumed but didn't had problems with this game. My PSU is the NOX Urano VX 750W, only thing I changed is im using white sleeved cables to the gpu. Also tried to run Furmark and no problems. I don't really know what more could be/test, or if theres any software to test the PSU... I don't know. Specs: CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 RAM: 16 GB @ 3200 mhz GPU: MSI Gaming X GTX 1080 8 GB PSU: Nox Urano VX 750W
  9. Hey budd, hope this helps you. Follow the instructions from this page and it helped me! BTW do the settings on the global 3d programs not invidividual for BDO. Also I didn't had to install those old drivers they said, new drivers for me, and didn't disabled Cool n Quiet. But I did all the rest and it worked! https://blackdesert.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/212282889-FPS-Issues EDIT; Nope its random asf, still stuttering
  10. Yeah I already tried that but its the same Its so weird budd I only have this problem with BDO the other games works perfectly
  11. Hello guys, hope you guys enlight me. I've just got my new GTX 1080 since thursday and since then I've been trying things nonstop but can't find the problem, I hope the problem isn't the CPU nor GPU :/. The thing is when playing Black Desert I have high FPS, 110-120 @ 1080p, but the problem is I have several FPS drops when playing no matter what zone or what Im doing, it drops from 120 to 30-40 fps suddenly for half a second but its so so annoying. I don't have this problem with other games I've tried like Overwatch, GTA V and ME: Andromeda. Before the GTX 1080 I had a RX 480 hard overclocked but didn't had this problem. I fear its the PSU(mine is NOX Urano VX 750W) but as I said I had this RX 480 overclocked which consumed a lot as well and no problems. I also tried underclocking the gpu core and memory but doesn't seems to fix the problem either. I also tried upping the voltage of the gpu with evga precision x but nothing either. I have also tried formating my PC. I also ran Furmark withouth problem, and on HWMonitor everything have enough voltage( +12V at 12+). I leave my PC specs: CPU: Ryzen 1700 GPU: MSI GTX 1080 Gaming PSU: NOX Urano VX 750W Motherboard: ASRock X370 Killer SLI Memorys: DDR4@3200
