  1. I think I’m just going to borrow a friends laptop and get windows 10 on a flash drive and see if I can’t repair windows.
  2. I had an external drive with a back up but my brothers stole it and formatted it for their Xbox so no back up. I have a windows 7 disc but I’m not sure if I can reuse the activation key.
  3. So I have a 120gb SSD with windows installed on it and a 1tb HDD for storage. Last night my HDD started to click and wouldn’t boot into windows. It’s not being recognized in the bios so I’m pretty sure it’s dead. From what I’ve been reading windows create a backup partition on a drive that isn’t the install drive which would be my HDD. So my guess is that since it can’t read that partition it just won’t boot. What I would like to know is how can I get my computer too boot from just the SSD since that’s where windows is installed. System specs if needed: ryzen 1400 16gb ballistix ram gtx 970 A320m gaming pro Motherboard
  4. I was thinking about doing that but i wont end up getting a better pc for another 6 months maybe longer.
