    Hey guys, i have a little nut to crack... and... i think it's stupid on top too...but, doesnt asks, doesnt get ^^ So i'd have a spare 1060 and my dad has Alienware 15 with 970m which could use the upgrade. The question is, will it fit... I noticed that the clevo has a bit different PCB with what looks like aditional power connecter, https://store.alezka.com/en/laptop-gpus/10-nvidia-gtx-1060-6gb-mxm-clevo.html then the 970m. https://store.alezka.com/en/laptop-gpus/4-gtx-970m.html it's most def. stupid question but, doesnt asks, doesnt gets ^^ And it might be easier to try to swap with a bit of DIY, then to try to sell it and buy another...     I'd love to...i know about them as well... i really love the default delid and other great stuff about the company... but portugal is a bit out of hand and my boss who pays half of the laptop didn't allowed me to order it there ... i tried.. anyway, i was communicating with some CEO from dreammachines and manage to persuade them to enlist the delid option for their laptops, so i'll have it... or is there a different story behind your recommendation ?     Hey guys... I'm new to the ltt forum, experienced in builds but with a dillema... Also i'm czech so i apologize for possible grammar mistakes... Currently i want to upgrade from my old lenovo y510p 755m sli and i have roughly 2500usd ( 2800usd would be top limit which i'd rather avoid because i'd have to eat just bread and instant ramen the next month)... After couple of weeks of research i narrowed the selection to three 17" laptops... MSI GT73 Titan(FHD) 6820hk/gtx 1070 Alienware 17 r49(UHD) 6820hk/gtx 1070 CLEVO P775DM3-G(FHD) (dreammachines.pl) 7700K(default delid) / gtx 1070 or 1080(300$ more) all 3 are +- couple of buck, 2500$ except the 1080option ... and share almost the same rest of the specs (ssd, hdd, 16gb ram, killer wifi...) Personally , i dont want UHD display, but i got a price for this particular badboy... I need the mobilitty( not caring about weight), want it for gaming, adobe premier and occasional streaming in fhd... I could use some more insight preferably from ppl who have experience with these babies... Thanks a lot... Binks...
