  1. Didn't you hear, though? The Man himself said, "We never have time for retrospection. It's always just [go go go]."
  2. That entirely depends on how large your luggage is and how much you've packed, so this is really only a question you can answer for yourself. The box isn't much taller than the desk pad itself, and since the desk pad is rolled up inside, it's not huge. Maybe 3"x3"x705mm?
  3. Hi there, So I've been doing some research for a while, and NVidia, for years, still has not enabled Surround to work with mixed resolution displays. In the end, I'm ok with that. Running my racing sims on my central 35" ultrawide is still a pretty good experience, but I'd love to get it running on all three of my monitors (2 27" side monitors, plus the ultrawide for a total resolution of 8560x1440). Does anyone know if someone has made a utility to make this work, or if someone has released some hacked drivers or a workaround of any fashion?
  4. Eeehhh, they'll be in a surround configuration either way, but I don't necessarily need to game on all three at the same time (although that would me a nice bonus when I'm playing my F1 simulator). I'm also a software developer (ok, I'm still in school, but close enough), so having 3 displays would be awesome for that, because 2 doesn't seem to be enough sometimes.
  5. Hey all! I'm looking to upgrade my current monitor situation. I'm currently running an Asus VG248QE (24", 1080p, 144hz, 1ms) and an ancient Samsung 21" that I'm borrowing from my dad, and I'd like to get rid of both. Graphics card is EVGA GTX1080 FTW. I'd like to increase my resolution and/or display size (maybe ultra wide?), as well as (hopefully) increasing to three displays. So I guess what I'd like to know is, off of a GTX1080 Is it feasible to go to three displays? Is it feasible to go to three displays at 1440p (and at least 120hz, preferably 3ms or less)? Is it feasible to increase my display size and/or ratio while maintaining at least 2 displays? What displays do you recommend? I have a budget of about $1.1k, maybe $1.2k if I can sell my Asus display. I'm not concerned about having the latest generation or anything like that, and I'm willing to make some compromises to get a good setup, because I recognize that having the ideal setup very likely isn't feasible. Thanks!
  6. I tried it in VirtualBox, but I was having issues with the mouse. The VM might have gotten a corrupted file when I downloaded it, so I uninstalled it. I'll try it again later. Other suggestions still welcome.
  7. Hey all! So I have the disc for RCT3 from when I was a kid and played it on WinXP. I'm now on Win10 and trying to play it again, as I understand that Windows typically has backwards compatibility (I was on Mac between XP and 10, so I didn't know about this until today). I know that if something legacy doesn't work right away, you can try running it in compatibility mode, but I can't even find anything that looks remotely like a setup file that I could use compatibility mode on in the first place! If you guys can put your collective brains together and help me on this, my childhood would be very grateful to you. Thanks!
  8. Hey all! So my friend asked me to build a compute for her, and I threw together the following configuration (feel free to judge that as well--I'm open to advice). https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nH2wCb Anyways, I'm in this forum to discuss the monitor. She's going to be doing photo editing (among other things), so I'd like to get at least a 1440p color accurate monitor. This is not something I know much about. What would you guys recommend? Oh, and the budget is ~$2k (don't have an exact amount yet). Thanks!
