  1. In my system i have currently installed 2 x 8GB ram modules, im planning on increasing it to 32 with 2 more ram sticks. A few questions, - can i put 2 different ram sticks which differ from the other 2 sticks already installed. I have been looking at ebay and i see some ram which come as a set, in total 2 x 8GB. Only problem its says that its only for AMD. Im running a z77 motherboard with an i5 3570. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-16GB-2x8GB-PC3-12800-DDR3-1600-240pin-Desktop-Memory-For-AMD-Motherboar-d-/161458186616?pt=US_Memory_RAM_&hash=item2597a86978 Is there a reason why this is not compatible with my system?
  2. The fact that i wont require a big power supply to just power the new 900 series , its powerful as well!!
  3. Wow, thanks for the all the answers guys, that really helped.
  4. I have kind of mixed these two together and even thought they were the same thing, can someone explain the difference?
  5. Hey guys, a friend of mine is getting a new tv and he asked me what i thought and i have no fucking idea, im not a tv person and i have not bought a tv of my own. What do you guys think of the tv he chose, do you have other recommendations? http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-dvd-blu-ray/televisions/large-screen-tvs-32-and-over/jvc-lt-40c540-40-led-tv-21972050-pdt.html
  6. I have heard about Shadow copy from the TEK, but i don't understand what it is, can someone explain in simple terms what is it and what it does?
  7. The cheero Energy Plus looks interesting, would you recommend this for traveling, it seems that there is only a single plug type to charge it. Can i use it outside the US. I'm a complete noob at this. What do you guys think about the cheero Power Plus 10400mAh DANBOARD, same company, but a smaller battery?
  8. Im looking for an external battery pack to charge my smartphone and to charge some of my other devices, does anybody have any recommendations?
  9. So, i have finally chosen, some of you will probably be perplexed by my choice, but i have chosen the Nexus 5 and hopefully he will enjoy it. I showed him the iPhone and he used it for a short while, he thought it was too simple compared to my Samsung Galaxy S II which was running CyanogenMod. Funny thing was he wanted the back button (cancel button) which was on my phone which was not on the iPhone. I didnt get the chance to show him a Windows Phone, so i took that out of the equation. Thanks again for the help guys.
  10. Thank you guys, this has really helped, will let you know which phone i choose when i buy it for him
  11. My dads fingers are very large as well, so typing is a bitch for him.
  12. Ok, from what you guys have said, and from my own opinions, iPhone is an easy phone to use, but its expensive, another problem is the small screen, my dad is very new to touch devices. Might wait for the new iPhone's to come out since they are getting bigger, but the price might be too expensive for my tastes and his. On the android, i know its not that easy to use for newcomers, but i have heard that the Samsung galaxy s4 has an easy mode, which could help my dad. On the windows phones side, that is uncharted waters for me, my mother has recently gotten the lumia 525 from my older sister, and my mother seems to like it. But from what you guys said, it is an easy phone to use, so which phone from that line would be appropriate, needs to have a nice screen which is not too small.
  13. I have been looking at some phones recently which i think are at a good price. - Google Nexus 5 - Motorola MOTO X - Motorola MOTO G - Samsung GALAXY S III - LG G2 - Apple iPhone 4S These are all the phones i found with similar prices in DK.
  14. Hmm ok, i for one have only used android so far, haven't tried apple because it was too expensive, is it really that simple to get used to it? If i get an apple for, how hard is it to connect to the pc and transfer data, my dad is not really an apple fan, he uses good old windows pc.
