Asus didn't seems to announced them publicly, but they have quietly introduced 3 "new" B450 motherboard: Strix B450-E (refresh over the B450-F) and TUF B450(M) Pro (over the B450(M) Plus): https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-B450-E-GAMING/overview/ https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/TUF-B450-PRO-GAMING/overview/ https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/TUF-B450-PRO-GAMING/ The TUF board have a significantly larger VRM heatsink and both board appears to be at least running better quality chokes. The strix board have 12 chokes while both the TUF boards have 10. The Strix appears to be running either a 10+2 or 8+4 phase, but very unlikely (Because that would be a: expensive, b: making the Crosshair and X470 boards duplicated). Its more likely a 5 (x2 components)+2 phase which will be very good for B450 or a disappointing 4+2 (with twice the components). Meanwhile both the TUF boards have 10 chokes, but more likely a 4(2x components)+2 configuration. Other additions includes a M.2 overheating shield for the Strix, Dual M.2 support for the TUF as well as DDR4 3533 OC support. I will keep an eye if any new B450 boards shows up

Spy pictures from TechPowerUP’s coverage of Computex have revealed MSI’s upcoming Threadripper motherboard. https://www.techpowerup.com/244806/msi-meg-x399-creation-to-be-the-most-outrageous-threadripper-motherboard-you-can-buy Yes, despite being a refresh, it is still called X399. it clams a 19 phase power delivery (most likely a 8+3 phase with 2 sets of components each like they usually do; or a doubled 8 phase (8x2) since there is no 19 phase controller on the planet) which is massive overkill probably even for a 32-core Threadripper if AMD will release one. It has a very, very unique design which is a love-it or hate-it deal. It has minimal RGB which to me is a good thing but for others might be bad. IO wise: Not sure if there is 10gb Ethernet though. This board also claims to have StoreMI integrated as it is technically a X399 "refresh". Bonus: MSi has also teased a B450 board which is spotted by tweaktown: That is so far the new motherboards at computex that I'm aware. Expect more b450/Z490/Z390/X399 boards for the upcoming days.
  3. AsRock has officially released a teaser of their upcoming graphics card. This confirms the previous rumors that they are entering the graphics card market. The line up will be named "Phantom Gaming". From the teaser, the card features minimal RGB and dual fan design (which means they are not reference models, but AsRock actually designed them). It is uncertain whether it is for Nvidia or AMD from the teaser, but many sources have believed that it is an AMD card.   4. The first intel H370 motherboard, the Gigabyte H370 AORUS Gaming 3, has been leaked online. It has build-in Wifi and usb type C support. The aesthetics however is significantly different than the Z370 version. The heatsinks seems to has more surface area than the Z370 gaming 7 but still not as great as the X470 Gaming 7: Heatsinks on X470 The IO is not rich but not bad.   6. Well the titles said everything. Not really relevant to most users though. It is surprising cuz I thought EPYC was some type of OEM only CPU. Now they are available in retail boxes.   7. Bragging right is definitely the factor here as I can say I have the "top of the line" even they have the same feature as their stepped down counterparts. (BTW the x370 is significantly more expensive than the B350 variant)

In a short overview video of the MSI B350I Pro AC board by Gamer Nexus, Steve briefly mentioned why there is a lack of mini ITX Ryzen boards at launch, and why there are limited models available. He said that after speaking to several motherboard vendors, he is informed that Ryzen boards requires an additional layer of the PCB to the motherboard design when converting them to MINI ITX. It is not a problem to Intel boards. He mentioned it starting at the 2:05 mark of the video: To be fair, this is a valid reason. (Not some kind of "Intel paid the motherboard vendors to sandbag AMD" BS suggestted by some AMD FANBOYS) However it still raises some questions (to me): 1 - Why the motherboard venders choose to use the ATX chipset (X370/B350), instead of the X/A300 chipset specifically designed for this? 2 - Why they still choose to use the X370 chipset in MINI ITX when most of their boards are VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL to their B350 counterparts? (even with the same power delivery, same ascetics and same IO?) Discussions are appreciated
