So i am supposed to connect the cable to my power supply?

I just got my Cooler Master master case maker 5. There is one cable coming from the front io i have no idea what to do with (see pictures). I hope anybody knows what the cable is for. Sorry for the blurry pictures i took them with my really crappy phone.

This weekend im going to build my first pc but i am a bit confused about what drivers i should install for my motherboard. The motherboard i have is: the Asus rog strix z270f. I found the download page on the asus website with all the drivers but there are so many i dont know exactly which to download. If anybody could help me that would be awsome :).
