I feel ya, it feels like LMG has become a well oiled video spitting machine that feels like it has a rhythm that is working for them but personnaly have found it to be rather stagnat these days and beside the cool new tech, that their is not much cool new video style experiments to see what will take them to the new step.

I can get a gigabyte 1080 at the microcenter near me for 689 but i have to fill in the other parts lol

ive seen some prebuilts on newegg but i already have ssd and hardrives so it would be kind of a waste to go that route especially cause i like the one thing i would want with it is a modular power supply

the design of the heat sync fins are spread out and made to allow for dissipation of heat like a air cooled radiator, the metal itself isnt cooling the chip, the metal is simply spreading the chip's heat across a greater surface area allowing for air to naturally then absorb some of that heat energy more rapidly being that it has a greater surface area. soooo no filling in the cooling fins would just cancel that heat dissipation effect, making it useless and kinda like putting a chunk of metal over the chip.

hah i agree i just am tired of it looking like that and plus im worried it is going to get worse since i have to carry it around for work and school for yet another year.

So a year or so i dropped my work beast laptop its all plastic construction and the only suffrage was this corner piece that broke off I am aware of needing to be cautious of the power port and inner connection, also that the laptop screen hinges are right next too it on the other side. I wanted to see if anyone has experience with or have tried with some success a repair too this and their results. my proposed solutions as of right now -using a thing bondo putty and trying to fill in/ remold the plastic corner and lightly sanding it clean (being cautious of the dusk of course) and painting to match -using some sort of hardening modeling compound and once again filling in and painting right now im leaning toward bondo putty cause it is familiar ( ive used it for car body work) and i know it is not electronically conductive being that it is going near the power port

i typically dont suggest the the surface products because of them not being upgradable and impossible to fix likewise the mac doesnt come to far from that exact issue barring all dongle/third-party hardware and money struggles aside. Since your using it for work with CAD software and some media creation/editing -it is clear that you want to get something with a tapped processor running on all cylinders so newer i7s are a must especially with processor heavy tasks like editing and CAD -next would be advised is to get something with a graphics chip to unload some of that work from the processors and pic up some extra grphics capabilities i.e. 3d physix for CAD. -finally typically i never suggest starting out or limiting your search to what already has a ton of ram or included Solid state drives because you can upgrade those your self when ever needed. (Ex. i7, gt1070,ssd and 16 gb ram = $1500 <<<< hdd and 8 gb ram gt1070 i7 = $899) - closing thought for a work pc i would keep in mind the battery life because you dont wanna be stuck to a wire

i do imagine it is because of the reliability and support for them rather then hopping on a new train with little to no experience and troubleshooting for. Servers are not exactly something you want to roll the dice on.

yeah i mean it will make your resume stand out more then the others just because it has stuff on it so i guess it wouldn't hurt but then again i wouldn't invest any money or time in it personally

soooo..... to watch episode 6 rn or wait till the real time and not be that guy too everyone i work around and am friends with...... hmmmm but can it wait!?! also side note i highly recommend re-watching from the beginning leisurely it feels so weird since the twists are so ... twisty but i do admit god those jeoffry things are even more annoying now if possible, cant tell if cersei is worse or if jeoffry was... cersei is like that slight pain in your back that just hasn't gone away for year or so
