  1. 8600K ASUS Z370E ASUS GTX 1070TI Corsair Vengeance 4 X 8GB 2133MHz Here's the spec list. But I highly doubt that the specs matters here in my case as I have mention in my original post that I only ran into this issue recently, I have the exact same specs prior to this issue. I'm suspecting a bios setting problem but I just can't seem to find where the problem lies.
  2. Hi! I have a little problem with my PC. Everytime I boot it up it will not boot normally into windows like it used to. It just goes to the "American Megatrends" screen after the ASUS boot up Normal I'm using a ASUS board, normally it goes. ASUS boot up screen > Windows loading > Windows log in. Abnormal ASUS boot up > American Megatrend POST (I have to manually hit F1 to go into bios and exit bios for the boot up to continue) Is there something I set in the bios for it to always trigger the POST? How do I get back the boot up where it doesn't enter the American Megatrends POST screen?
  3. I tried but my new ssd just doesn't show up in the bios as an option in the boot order, only 2 out of 6 drives shows in the boot order option which is the SATA M.2 and a HDD. But the NVMe is still bootable by selecting it manually just like every other drives in my build.
  4. Hi guys, I recently upgraded my booting drive from a SATA M.2 to a NVMe M.2. I installed the new NVMe SSD into another M.2 slot on my motherboard and I Data migrated using the SAMSUNG data migrate software to my new NVMe drive. All was good but whenever I load into bios, I can never select the new NVMe drive as the booting device and I have to manually boot it everytime I have to turn my PC on. SEND HELP!
  5. Hi guys I'm kind of a newbie in the world of building PCs, I have this situation where I have 2 sticks of Kingston ValueRAM 8GB 2133mhz (CL15 I think?) in my PC currently, but I bought another 2 stick of RAM so I can upgrade it to 32GB but here's the problem, I bought a Corsair Vengeance 16GB 2666mhz CL16 kit as I wish to change the remaining Kingston sticks to Corsair ones in another few months. Is it safe to say I can install it but the RAMs will all only run at 2133mhz and CL15? Will there be any damage to the system if I were to mix these 2 sets of RAM? Or do you guys recommend me to remove the Kingston RAM and run the system at 16GB with the purchased Corsair and wait till I can get the remaining 16GB to upgrade to 32GB? Thanks in advance!
  6. Laptop Model: ASUS G751JT Specs: i7 4710HQ GTX 970M 8GB ddr3l 1600MHz Btw this issue happens long ago and is troubling me since. At first I thought the HDD was dying so I got a SSD(samsung 750 evo 240GB). As I have mentioned earlier that this issue happens before my SSD upgrade, so when I bought the SSD I cloned the HDD to the SSD and have the the system boot up with the SSD (so currently I have the SSD and the original HDD in the system). But the problem still there.

  8. My laptop is acting up lately. Almost everytime I use my laptop, it will freeze. During the freeze: -My mouse still moves. -Current task still works. eg. youtube video(but will hang after I click on a next video/refresh/back) -Task bar unresponsive -Ctrl + Alt + Del unresponsive until the com starts running again (which is only for a split second) -Apps unresponsive -Restart screen will hang for quite a while after I manages to reach the restart button I suspect that it is a CPU dying but I googled the symptoms of CPU failure the closest symptom is the freezing part. However, my mouse and the current task still works not like how the website describes a freeze(even mouse hangs). Has anyone encounter such problem? Thanks in advance!
  9. I have a problem here....I have several devices to connect using wired LAN like TV, 2 Desktops, PS4 and maybe even more devices in the future. 1) Currently I am looking to upgrade my current router (Asus RT-AC56S) but I am having a dilemma on whether I should go for gigabit network switch (TP Link 8-port Gigabit smart switch) with a 4 port Asus Tri-band RT-AC5300 (S$49+S$459) or a 8-port router Asus ROG Rapture GT-AC5300 ($559). 2) If I were to connect 4 to 6 devices at a go will the speed be affected? assuming all connected devices are being used simultaneously. I have a 1Gbps plan with my local service provider, so will that 1Gbps be divided into that 4 to 6 devices or all devices will run at 1Gbps. 3) If I choose to get the cheaper router with the network switch, my guess is to connect the network switch to the router? And can I have more than 1 network switch one to be position in the livingroom and another in the studyroom? Sorry if I asked too much, tech newbie here.
