  1. So I just OC'd my Ryzen 5 1600 to about 3.8Ghz. The BIOS shows that the CPU is running at 3.8Ghz but when I open Ryzen Master or any other monitoring software like CPU ID , HW Monitor etc. It only shows 3.4ghz even at full load. MOBO: MSI B350 Tomahawk P.S: Also my RAM which is 3200MHZ runs stable only at 3000MHZ with this overclock.
  2. So I got a prompt to update my Win 10 version, I left it to update overnight, I must have not plugged it in and the battery was low during the time of the updates, So I woke up to a dead laptop, plugged it in and now it does not display anything but the fans run at full RPM. HP Notebook - 15-af114au Video link to the exact issue : https://imgur.com/eM8Jg9R (Please un-mute the audio to listen to the fans) PS: I also bought a new set of DDR3L RAM sticks assuming that they might fix the issue, It does not work. Thanks.

  6. I have a few RAM Sticks lying around but sadly those are the full size PC Sticks.

  8. Unfortunately I guess its dead. Tried this and it does the same thing/
  9. Welp looks like its time to upgrade then, atleast I can pull out my HDD to recover the data.
  10. Yup it has a removable battery and yes the LED next to the Power Plug lights up. Edit: Yes I get the usual click/beep as soon as I press the power button.
  11. Tried 10,15 and 30s, tried pressing the Win + B, Win +V key too.

  13. Been having issues with the Laptop since the beginning of March. Laptop turns on, does not display anything, Fans run at a max. Trying to troubleshoot it since last week. I wanted to pull out the RAM and HDD (yup my laptop is ancient) and re-seat them again, unfortunately the screw got stripped while I tried un-screwing them. I need my laptop up and running by 2 days cause I gotta work.
  14. It's complete lock-down here, also I live in a containment zone so I'm screwed.
  15. Yes, it's a Philips head, tried with rubber and paper but the problem its that it's way inside enclosed.
  16. gPreview attachment IMG20200502121900.jpg How do I remove this screw? Am I screwed?
  17. I just installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 and now when I try to connect to my WiFi network, it shows that there aren't any connections available. Also checked Device Manager to see if there's driver issues. What drivers should I install to fix this? EDIT: Checked the Network Controller Properties Pulled up these Hardaware IDs: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08AE&SUBSYS_10058086&REV_00 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08AE&SUBSYS_10058086 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08AE&CC_028000 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08AE&CC_0280
