    thanks so much everyone, and for those stating that the 7800x has no benchmarks, obviously ill wait until all the reviews and comparisons are out, however my main concern was the new platform of x299, the unforeseen bugs, and alot of other things linus pointed out in his most recent video, i had already changed my mind and planned to buy the 7800x, however linus's video on x299 made me seriously reconsider, i guess well have to wait and see! thanks again

    thank you so much guys! but a ryzen 7 is fairly brand new, and a 1700 costs around 490$ which is a total waste, i could an i7 for 100$ cheaper which is insane but our computer market is absolutely awful

    Getting a ryzen processor in my country is difficult to say the least! people dont know anything about hardware here, they overprice everything by 300-400$, a 1080ti here sells for 1300 USD...

    im building a new workstation/ gaming pc (mostly gaming) and i was wondering if i could get your thoughts on my cpu choice, i was initially going to buy a 7700k however the new 7800x really intrigued me, would it be better to buy a 7700k and a gtx 1080 ti or a 7800X and a gtx 1080, thanks!
