First time post here.
I've noticed over the past number of days that in my temperature monitoring software utilities (Corsair Link, HWMonitor etc.) that there are 2 motherboard related temperature sensors which are displaying temperatures that are consistently >125 degrees Celsius, and initially I simply put it down to faulty sensors and wasn't particularly worried, however whilst gaming I've noticed that my system is running extremely hot at the moment, with the PC case itself becoming reasonably hot to the touch, not to the point where it burns me or anything but to the point where it's noticeably warmer to sit beside (the internal component sensors, SSD/HDD etc. are displaying temperatures during gaming of around 60 degrees Celsius, with my CPU and GPU both sitting around 65 degrees). I am running a fairly significant overclock on both my CPU/GPU, but these have been present for >6 months (the CPU OC has been there for the past 3 years without issue) and my main concern is that there is an actual hot point somewhere on the board which is causing this excessive heat within the system.
My main question is, is it normal for the internal components to be this hot during gaming, or for the PC case itself to become warm to the touch? Over the past week or so here in Northern Ireland, temperatures have been unseasonably warm and without AC in my apartment, the air temperature is certainly at least 5-10 degrees hotter than it normally would be, but would that be enough for me to notice this change in the character of my system?
