  1. Looking to buy a new mouse. Willing to dump $100-200 USD. Any suggestion on good ergonomic mice?
  2. Also, since Asus announced gl702zc at the end of May, it has been another 2 months yet the laptop market is quite silent. What is going on?
  3. I'm thinking to buy a new laptop and my main use case is video editing / content creation (and I usually run 3 OS at the same time). My budget is around 3-4k USD. I was originally looking at something like eurocom p7 pro se, but the xeon cpu is just way too freaking expensive, and does not offer great value. So should I wait for ryzen 7 laptops to come out or just burn my bucks now? Rog Strix gl702zc is out of the question since I need more ram, and preferably nvme ssds.
  4. I see, what are those socket laptops? Could you name a few?
  5. Just out of curiosity, is there such a thing as building your own laptop? i.e. can I order cases and motherboards and assemble them like I could with desktops?
  6. Do you think the GTX 1070 can saturate the 120Hz 1080p though? I'm really skeptical about that one.
  7. I'm thinking to buy a eurocom tornado f5 and I'm really puzzled with which display to buy. They offer 3 options: IPS/PLS panel, 1080p at 60Hz with g-sync IPS/PLS panel, 3840x2160 at 60Hz with g-sync ($120 CAD more) TN panel 1080p at 120Hz without gsync ($174 CAD more) The graphics card I'm thinking to buy is GTX 1070 with 8GB GDDR5 Which one do you guys think will be worth it? I don't really do much color intensive work, nor am I a hard core gamer. I would use it for light gaming (League of Legends most likely, lol) and mainly for coding and running some VMs. Thanks in advance!!
  8. Damn, never seen that one. Surely is a beast though. I wonder if the cooling and battery would keep up?
  9. I'm trying to figure out which laptop to buy and really want to hear from you guys. Laptop's purpose: Coding, a little bit of content creation and light gaming Requirement: No larger than 16 inches, because I will carry it arround quite a bit. Upgradable, I think I will be stuck with this one for a couple years. Budget: No more than 3000 CAD Any comments?
  10. Hello, I'm thinking to buy some second handed monitors, but I'm not sure what / how I should test them?
