  1. If you'd like to jump to the chase, skip to the next paragraph. Earlier today, I had a power surge, causing my computer to reboot, and my turned off smart lights to spring to life. As my computer rebooted, it became clear it had no interest in actually posting. The screen just had a start-up code and the motherboard had an initialization code. I tried everything under the sun that I could think of. Swap ram, nothing. Remove CMOS battery, nothing. Clear CMOS button, nothing. Remove GPU and plug video into MB, nothing. Remove wifi card, nothing. Unplug all peripherals, nothing. As one last hail mary, thinking "this can't work, right?" I unplugged all my SATA drives. And, by some miracle, it posted. I plugged all the drives back in 2 at a time, and it posted every single time. That is, until I plugged in the 6TB WD Blue I bought recently. Why would a hard drive cause my computer to not boot? Not only does it not boot *in the computer*, if I have it plugged into an external drive bay, it still won't boot. It will, however, mount just fine if I don't turn the bay on until I'm booted into Windows. I've already ordered a replacement from Amazon (as well as a tripp lite surge protector), but I would like to know if anyone has any idea on what caused this so I can avoid it in the future. It seems so strange to me that the *only* thing damaged was one single hard drive. All of the other hard drives are completely fine. The other computer I have on the same decade old surge protector is just fine. So is the monitor, network switch, speakers, etc, etc.
  2. Here's the order Tab #3: No Tab #5: Yes Tab #3: No Tab #1: No Tab #2: No Tab #5: Yes Tab #6: Yes Tab #7: Yes Tab #3: Yes
  3. Did you watch the video I posted?
  4. How could it be the receiver itself when this only happens on certain tabs? Also, before I started typing this comment, it wouldn't work. Typing in the Amazon search bar fixed it.
  5. Logitech Craft with Unifying Receiver. I never ever have this problem on my 2008 Mac Pro, also unifying receiver. Edit: And I've had this keyboard for over 2 years now. It just started doing this earlier this year.
  6. I've been having this problem with my keyboard for months now. All of a sudden, I just can't type anything. On every single page you see here, I'm trying to type something. Usually, if I go to an Amazon search bar, type something, and then go back, it'll start working. It eventually started working again here, but not as quick as usual. I really don't know what could be going on here. I've wondered if I have a keylogger or something, but I have no idea if this is how they act. I've blacked out things here for personal privacy, as well as a private tracker since I don't know the rules about sharing. By the time I realized I could just black out the entire Amazon pages like I did with Facebook, I had already committed to the tiny boxes, so enjoy this random look at what I was looking at on Amazon. Also, since I made this video, which was a little over half an hour ago, the problem has not returned.
  7. Did either of you actually read my post? I can't leave my house. I wanted a better option than leaving it out in the open for two weeks, but I guess I don't really have a choice.
  8. Yes this much is obvious, but until I'm able to dispose of it what do I do with it? I can't just leave it sitting around, right?

  10. I decided to check my old water damaged phone and found the back barely hanging on, and the battery bulging like I've never seen. I need advice on how to store it. I'm on Covid quarantine, so I can't take it anywhere, and I can't find the key for my fireproof safe. (I used it in college dorms. I don't think there's anything important in it.) What do I do?
  11. Yes but mostly I want to know why the system properties show 12GB when there are only 8GB. The "usable" RAM is essentially the actual installed amount while the total shown is a mystery.
  12. My roommate had me check his computer to see why he only has 5.7GB of available RAM when he has 12GB installed. Well, upon closer inspection, 4 2GB DIMMs are installed, totalling 8GB. That's fairly close to the 7.98 shown in computer properties, but in that case, why is it showing 12GB total? I told him to adjust the page file to fix the 5.7GB of available that but it apparently did nothing. Does anyone know what's going on here?
  13. I updated Windows, and it fixed the images problem, but now i get some intermittent blue flash glitch on YouTube.
