  1. Yeah good shout. I'll think on it for a week or so and do some more research. Thanks everybody for the advice! Cheers!
  2. Thanks for the help. I will check that case when I get off work. I am in between 6800k and 6850k. I just noticed the nice combo deal with the 6850k and rampage V. I think it was roughly $900. Another person just recommended waiting for x299. Thanks!
  3. Interesting. I haven't built anything in about 7 years.. I'll look into that, I've been randomly throwing money into my PayPal this year and finally am deciding to upgrade after being annoyed with render times and VR framerates. Any expectations on price range for 6 core CPUs for x299 platform? Thanks!
  4. Hey guys, I'm looking to build a new PC very soon and have come to a little detour. I was set on getting the NZXT 440 case...and here's the rest. MOBO - Asus Deluxe II CPU - 6850K RAM - Corsair Dom. Plat. PSU - EVGA 750 Supernova Here is where I'm stuck.. I noticed that there is a combo deal on newegg for the Asus Rampage V Edition 10 with the 6850k for less money than my current MOBO and CPU combo. Unfortunately, that motherboard is extended atx and the case is not. I know some people have made the Rampage IV fit into that case, but I hadn't seen many with the Rampage V. So, is it worth ordering and trying to modify? Should I get a different case or just spend more on a lesser motherboard? Or..just wait for another combo deal? What cases are similar to 440? I haven't seen many. Budget is around 1,500 give or take, and I already a GPU with later upgrade plans. Build purpose is 4k raw video, 3d modeling & animation, VR, and gaming. Thanks, Billy
