Hey guys, I´m using the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro with the Modmic 5 for gaming. I need something to drive them! I digged throught the internet and just found out: I need an amplifier of at least 15.57dBV at a load of 254.38 ohms. https://reference-audio-analyzer.pro/en/user-report.php?id=563&page=hp-beyerdynamic-dt-770-pro-250 Do you have any suggestions for me for a DAC + AMP comb? The way easier suggestion from my perspective would be to buy the Creative Soundblaster AE-5. But can it drive these headphones? Or shall i buy it and buy an amp later to get the best result in the future? I fixed the issues! Just to close this threat so anybody with the same problem can fix it too. These issues were caused by my harddrive. The specific Lag were LAGShutter! Wiped my SSD so just connected it via charge - not with the MOBO. Full reinstallation of the System fixed the issue.

Well having the same "problem" here. Same Processor same troubles in PUBG. (YES i know this game has a bad coding) But what i really like to understand WHY 90-100% usage (pubg alone uses 80-90%) is "good" and normal. BC the frame drops only appear when the "high end processor" just reaches a 100% and of course troubles with stability to finish all incoming tasks fluently. The last thing what i want to mention here is that many other players with older or even the same cpu have less workload on their cpus. this is a i5 6600k and he just has a smaller workload! while recording is running! it 7600k with less usage! IDK this seems so weird to me. how can my system need more usage than his?!

Well i decided to buy the 990 PRO´s now. Sooner or later i get something for traveling and DJing then. But i really need a last question to be answered! What kind of mic can i use with them? I´m aware that i can´t use a modmic cause they have an open back considering that they will record the ingame sounds. I thought about taking the Rode NT1-A as mic bc i got an xlr output here. Ofc option 1. would be less expensive than option 2.

As the topic says i can´t decide between the HD8 Dj, DT 770 PRO, v-moda crossfade m-100, PSB m4u 2. The goal is to find good headphones for gaming. The second topic is to get sth. for music while traveling and DJing. So can i just chose the HD8 DJ for gaming too? Cause i would buy them sooner or later for DJing. (Linus and many other reviewers convinced me with the awsome soundquality in music tasks) Or are these shitty in CS:GO and don´t offer that good surround stage as needed for fps shooters? Can someone help me out? I got an old gtx 660ti from a friend of mine. Most of the time the card works fine but the gpu overclocks somtimes into the 2000Hz (somtimes even peaks @ 2200). Base-boost-clock is about 1111Hz. As a result the card sometimes thermalthrottles and gets hot with degrees of 80-90 °C. Don t forget it´s an nvidiacard oO. This issue even happens when i run msi-afterburner and reset everything to default! I figured out that no other components were damaged! So i decided to reset the cards vbios to the factory bios. When i boot ATIflash i can´t flash the card. An error accurs "Adapter not found" - Note: I already used CMOS to reset my motherboard to default. Does anyone know how i can get around this?

You counted the free sync monitor out cause you got an nvidia gpu or do you think g-sync is better than free sync?

Edit: I took the Rog Swift now. Anybody who reads this thread i would highly recommend that monitor! It arrived today and instantly blow my mind away x) (well remember i had a 10 year old monitor before so the diffrence here is huge). Thank you for the fast response! Yeah the colour range is an aspect but i heard from many people that this range is sometimes on paper different to the real appearence. If there is a diffrence i will chose the rog. Well if there isn t any big diffrence i will chose the cheaper one. (Both designs are fine for me )

Hey there! I´m looking forward to buy a new monitor. I need it for high fps games. But the 240Hz monitors are not cheap! so i need some help in making a decision First of it all i got to mention that i m gonna get a new GPU with this monitor too. (Still waiting for vega) http://zowie.benq.com/en/product/monitor/xl/xl2540.html has the free sync support. https://www.asus.com/uk/Monitors/ROG-SWIFT-PG258Q/ has the g-sync support. So the question is: "do they perform differently?!" looking on colour specs and so on... or are they not worth it to compare and i should just chose the cheaper one (including the GPU).
