  1. Oh, no I haven't tried this. Thank you, I will try this when I get back from work later this evening and approve as the solution if it works
  2. Hi there, My system is pretty much up and running perfect now since building it except that the all in one corsair cooler has the fans stuck on max speed. It's incredibly loud to the point of me getting a head ache when playing it. Any ideas how to control these? I tried the bios but it doesn't seem to have any impact.
  3. Okay solved it, you need to enable it in the monitor display settings (Seems awkward) Though, I still haven't found how to enable 120hz
  4. Okay then, thank you. So back to my original question, why is the radeon settings showing as "freesync not supported"

  6. Got a vega 64 and it isn't picking up the freesync / 144hz support. I'm using a display port cable that came with the monitor. Any thoughts?
  7. Ok update, flashed the bios and I can access the menu now -- I've discovered that the other fans aren't actually loud at all. The source of the noise is coming from the AIO cooler, the fans are going ham constantly. Is there anyway to slow them down?
  8. Ok, tried restarting with UEFI firmware settings and it just froze with the screen going on and off. Had to power down the computer to get it unstuck from that -- so we can tick that off the list. I also reset the cmos by taking the battery out and again no boot screen. Meh, any other ideas?
  9. Hi, I've just built a new PC and the fans are all spinning at max extremely loud. The computer boots fine but I can't access the BIOS to shut them the hell up. The bios logo screen doesn''t even show up. I'm using this mobo (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/gigabyte-aorus-ga-ax370-gaming-5-amd-x370-socket-am4-ddr4-atx-motherboard-mb-554-gi.html) Halp
  10. Ok so I've purchased 3 cables so far and I'm starting to get severely angry. I bought a 3440x1440 ultrawide monitor by AOC. I currently use a GTX 1080ti and have tried displayport (black screen), DVI (30hz) and HDMI 2.0 (30hz). Why the fuck can't I get it to 60 hz? Both displayport and hdmi 2.0 should support it
  11. Hi there, I just bought this ultra wide monitor and its arrived today. I've plugged it in via DVI -- My issue is I have not installed the driver for this monitor yet (as I've turned off my disc drive) and cant be arsed to reinstall it as I didn't think a monitor would require a driver to run properly. I'm getting severe input lag and am wondering whether this is due to the driver not being installed? I already looked on their website for online drivers but they don't run as an executable; it's a weird collection of files which do nothing. Help
