Hi everyone,
I have recently decided to build a new PC, considering that value these days is way better than it was when I built mine in early 2017.
So, I have made a build that I will buy piece by piece, but here's my question:
I already have a 1 TB hard drive (normal storage) and a 500 GB SSD (games, Windows, etc) in my current system. Yes, storage is pretty cheap now too, but I also would like to keep my data. Is it possible to re-use my drives in the new system? I know it is "possible," especially with the 1 TB one- there isn't anything that would most likely affect the new system on it, but I'm more worried about the SSD. I heard that I can't just plug the old SSD into the completely new PC and boot up the same copy of Windows without there being issues. Is this true?
Thanks!
