I have 3 google home already. I’m thinking of getting MAX. The price stays at 400, unchanged even HomePod was introduced. I could get a good all in one speaker without the smart google assistant and link it with chromecast audio. i want to know how much MAX is worth without the smart AI. What all in one is it equivalent to? Or what all in one is good for $400?

I also have another x370, using the same cpu. 3.5 jack works. could it be drivers that I have to download?

I have this x370 xpower titanium. Onboard 3.5 gives no sound, but only over the 3.5 jack on my monitor. I don’t have other monitors. The right hand system tray shows sound goes to monitor regardless 3.5 is plug into either ports. I CANT seem to change default sound output.

Many years old colourful gtx 650 started to make fan noise. It was put away and one day I dropped it at knew high. One pcb corner is slightly chipped, that corner area is slightly bent . No other visible damage. I did not remove the fan to inspect. after the drop, the previously working gtx displays no screen. Fan still spins.

Incompatible?! That’s what my rant is about. Why do they only choose to support some brands and not other? How hard is it for that sata controller. A 7 year old pc can recognise those hdd. This is snyology 2018 series. It’s hurting the consumers, and they should be sued. So so my figure is wrong, ds218+ supports 10tb x2. However older has max capacities are much smaller. They do spin up and they are fine. I’m afraid I can’t get refunds from the shops I got them from.

I got them from local supplies. All new.

Especially the k7 top of the line models? apart from better rgb lights and effects

It should support 12tb capacity however it won’t recognise MG04ACA600E 6tb toshiba enterprise? Not supported? If not, for what reason? anyway I cannot understand why they impose a max capacity on their nas? Why can’t people choose to have a 10tb drive on their low end 1 bay nas device? I think there needs to be a class lawsuit against them to protect consumers, and keep them honest.

It seems ekwb and swiftech aio are old products, but they are still on par with next Corsair and nzxt new aio? So old that u don’t see or heard them in shops

I have learned that eisbear aio are open looped and designed to be expanded. Are they a good place to start? I.e. get eisbear 420, then some time later expand it to gpu with soft tubes? corsair nzxt are expensive brands, any cheaper? Someone told me h150i worth no more than 120usd.

What is the dif? is there a glossary for specific terms? ihave seen many water cooling videos, but still need to learn.

For example h500p mesh 2x200cm fans, can be fitted on 400 radiator? are radiator sizes always in multiples of 120 or 140? Can u get other sizes? Or make them? Is eisbear 420 the only aio 420? What setup would require it? aio 480? For aio 360, is that a cheap one u can recommend?

You can change fans easily, and they are often replaced. I want to quickly determine a heatsink capacities just by looking at it, without checking reviews for each one because it’s time consuming. I want to know a reference tdp figure to rely on. Lets start with a 6 heatpipes, 12cm fansize 12x12x5, with 1 decent fan. What would the tdp be? step up to 2 decent fans, tdp =? 8 heat pipes, tdp =? step down to 4 heat pipes, tdp =? 4 heat pipes, 9x9x4, tdp=? .... and other common designs, tdp =?

So it turns out the skill flare x ram kit 8g*2, one of them is faulty?! If I use the right stick, the pc will boot. however when I use both sticks on my x370 Aorus, they are detected as 16 gab. More tests will be done. I will post updates..

I also have x370 aorus k7. So everything works on that. When I switch only the motherboard, I was first getting 0d debug code - Then after several tries, it is always 01. I just can’t boot, no screen at all. The msi x370 has 8+4 for cpu power. I only have 8 pin for it, is that a problem? ryzen 1700x
