I think I can use Hdmi for the Macbook and DisplayPort for my gaming pc. I just hope that the T3 shows up on my MacBook after I plug it into the Monitor.

Seems like you are looking for the top of the line. I think the new Asus ROG PG27UQ announced and shown at the latest CES will fill up your needs. But it's on the much pricier side.

Hey guys, I'm into Music Production & gaming. I need to know if the Asus PG278QR is able to run a MacBook Pro Touch 2016 & a gaming PC at the same time, while having the best connection between MacBook Pro and Monitor and not loosing the function of G-Sync between Monitor and Gaming PC.? If this setup should work, will I still be able to plug the Samsung T3 SSD into the Monitor and use it as an external storage for the MacBook Pro?
