  1. Yup, I have small aluminum fins attached to them =) They get warm to the touch after hours of bf3 action!
  2. Yup, just using some cheap Chinese blocks. Of course tested thoroughly to make sure they don't drip on anything! Total cost of the cards and water cooling came to $490! Microcenter clearance for display cards =) 200 a piece!
  3. True though I only game at 1080, so there is no use for the extra ram! =)
  4. Well the title says it all, facebook is going to acquire Occulus, I wonder what this spells out for the kickstarters?
  5. I have left bios unlocked but gpu boost 2.0 ocs the cards to 1240mhz stable, and full load 42c furmark =)
  6. The two 760s cost less than a 780 ti and outperforms it! X_x
  7. Decided to water cool my 760s and wow the performance boost was not expected, gpu boost really likes the cool temps! Pictures! http://imgur.com/a/Gr1cJ#0 (potato quality on some of the photos) Specs http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/2739942
  8. What cooler and mobo do you have and what batch 4100 do you have? what multiplier and fsb are you using, what's your load line cal, and vdrop set to? I might be able to help you get that up there most 4100 can hit 4.6, as long as you have the cooling for it, and the mobo supports oc. =)
  9. I can hit 5 ghz though core 6 and 7 become unstable, I can turn them off and run 5 ghz as a hex core though X_x. The heat is another issue though the h100 barely handles it at 5ghz even under normal game loads, bf3 I will be running at 52c. There is no performance boost since I lock the sync rate to 60 anyways, no sense in going faster than my monitors refresh rate!
  10. Yup 4.5ghz oc hits 55c under prime 95 stress testing, I think I got a golden chip because I'm only pushing 1.45 volts.
  11. Doubt it, I'm getting older and have less time for games after the next cpu upgrade I think this will be my last gaming pc. Kind of sad but I've had a good run with gaming pcs, seems only right that amd has announced they will no longer produce enthusiast cpus, I've had amd in all my gaming pcs (more due to the price than the performance).
  12. cpu: AMD FX-8120 Eight-Core Processor cpu cooler: h100 CPU cooler ram: 12 GB Visiontek 1866 video cards: 2 X (EVGA Superclocked 760gtx dual bios) SSD: HyperX kingston 120gb ssd Mobo: Asus Sabertooth 990fx rev. 1 OS: windows 7 Case: Cooler Master Trooper rev. 1 Monitors: Acer 22" and dell something ultrasharp from an old xps. Pictures!! http://imgur.com/a/HJKHT#0 She's not the best but for 1080p game play I can max every game! Including Crysis 3 (dips to low 30s in very demanding scenes). Next Upgrade will be the CPU, I am heavily bottle-necked by the 8120 the physics performance is just not there! Just upgraded from 2 6790s to the 760s and the difference is mind blowing!! Sorry for the potato quality photos!
  13. Hey just got the units in and did a bit of fooling around, the results are better then I hoped for, I think the radiator is actually causing the loop to heat up! =) 50C full load if too lazy to watch =P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aljUUTozIcg&feature=youtu.be
  14. Might be able to squeeze a bit more out of the cards now! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aljUUTozIcg&feature=youtu.be 50C load if to lazy to watch =)
