  1. Hey there, So I've recently purchased a new router, the Archer C7, and I'd like to use it along with the adsl modem my isp provided. I've tried bridging the 2 but it drastically hinders my internet speeds. How else would I be able to get them to work together efficiently without affecting my internet speeds greatly? Regards, Ryan
  2. Razer Naga Epic Chroma doesnt have the option, I may have to move on too considering how often it happens ;(
  3. Hey there! So about 1 month ago I purchased a new Razer Naga Epic Chroma, upgrading from its predecessor the razer naga 2014. I had never had issues until the last couple months with the naga, the cursor would freeze up and just spazz all over the screen occasionally. After that I decided it was time to change, so I got the Razer Naga Epic Chroma, which was doing fine for a bit less than a month. The problem was the same problem I had with the previous naga, just spazzed all over the screen and froze randomly, pretty frequently. I decided it was time to get it replaced after I tried everything in my power and knowledge to fix it. For the first week of the replacement coming in it was doing perfectly fine, but whenever I plug it in with the wire it just stars to spazz out all over the screen, and occasional freeze. When it is wireless there is rare freezing but I bought this mouse to be able to use it wired/wireless, and this is preventing me from doing so. This problem also occurs in the bios, I do not have another pc to test it but I'm going over to a friends soon and could test it there. I really hope I do not need to get it replaced / refunded as I am very fond of this mouse, could there be a comparability issue with my system setup? MOBO: Gigabyte Z87 (not sure exact model) CPU: i7 4770k @4.5GHZ GPU: 760 PSU: Cooler Master 600W Thank you for your time, Ryan.
  4. Amazing! I love hearing that everyone who purchased it and have seen it commend it, I was scared is was one of those too good to be true monitors honestly. Thanks, I've found this one others forums too but I appreciate the information still. I'll be purchasing this in the coming week, thanks to all again, Ryan.
  5. Oh great! That really put my mind to ease. I really appreciate all of your comments and thanks
  6. Hey there! So, I'm looking into purchasing a new GPU, mainly for the reason that my gaming experience is slowly dwindling as the fps is getting lower and lower. My current gpu is a GTX 760, it's done wonders for the past couple years but its time for an upgrade, I was thinking of a 1070. I was looking into upgrading my whole pc, but I do not have a high enough budget to purchase a graphics card along with all the other components, so I thought I might buy just the GPU. My current build: - CPU: i7 4770k @4.5Ghz - GPU: GTX 760 - MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 - RAM: 16GB Naked Kingston sticks I have concerns that it would be a dumb thing to just upgrade the gpu, I'm fairly confident that the cpu will bottleneck me to such a length that it wouldn't even be worth purchasing the gpu. My questions: Will the CPU Bottleneck the gpu to a point of making it obsolete? Should I go for an older card like a 970, and save a couple more hundred euro to upgrade the whole PC? Are there any other options? Thank you for taking your time to read this, Ryan.
  7. Hey there! To start off, I'm fairly confident that this is the correct section to post in, and if not I apologize and please tell me! So, I've been interested in purchasing a new monitor for a while, and after scanning through every monitor within my budget, its come down to 2, the "Dell Gaming S2417DG" and the "BenQ XL2430". This monitor is mainly for competitive games such as CS:GO, but I would also like a nice all around monitor along with the capabilities for esports. The BenQ XL2430T is pretty notorious within the esports scene as a reliable and efficient monitor. The dell gaming is fairly new and isn't really seen as a go to monitor in the gaming scene. My mind is kind of headed towards the dell, mainly for the 1440p, OC to 165Hz, the thin bezel and G-Sync, which the BenQ lack. These features are not necessary, but considering how often I get a monitor, I think investing it one with such features would make sense. I would really appreciate if you guys could give me some personal experience with the monitors or some pros and cons not found on articles and such. Thank you for taking your time to read this, Ryan.
  8. Ill look at other laptops, thanks to all of you for opening my eyes on how trash the razer is before I invest so much money into it.
  9. I looked at the MBP with the Radeon, but the bloody thing costs nearly 3.4k, way too much for me.
  10. I've got a PC, that can run 90% of new games. I'm looking for a laptop that I will be able to use for school (compulsory), as I will be out and busy much more after this summer, so I'd like to be able to game on it. Also, "Razer says it should be good for about 5 hours of runtime." I've read lots of articles and the answers are all different. Most tend to give the battery life of gaming only and not just browsing the web, writing documents etc.. I've read it is around 7 hours but I don't trust the source completely. Are there ways of saving battery like disabling the GPU when not gaming? Thanks for the reply, Ryan.
  11. Hey there, I need some help with choosing my laptop. I've been looking through the internet for a few days now just looking at the options I have for a laptop. At the end my mind is mainly focused on the Razer Blade (2017 Edition, with the 1060 and Kaby Lake) and the MacBook Pro 13" (This one to be exact: https://www.scanmalta.com/newstore/computing/laptops/macbook/apple-macbook-pro-mpxw2b-a-13-space-grey-w-touch.html) . Both are able to carry out most task I plan on shooting at them, but as a gamer, the ability and freedom to be able to game on the go is a huge bonus! I'm mostly leaning towards the razer, due the reason it has a 1060 inside it. My main concerns are the reliability and battery life. This laptop will not only be for my leisure and entertainment, but I'd like to use it for school. I'm taking a software development course and also some english literature on the side. For the school part I plan on writing essays, doing research and of course opening up the programs needed for my software development. So how is the battery life in the new Razer Blade? (Cannot find accurate answers online) (Preferred if I could get an answer such as Idle=X, Small Load such as web browsing=X, and Intensive Load=X) X Being the hours it would last. Will it last me a few years (Without variables)? For the MacBook, my main concern is the GPU in the MacBook, it just wont cope with the games I play. Though, I've heard great things about the reliability and the battery life (After the issue ofc), but as a gamer it's just not me to have a laptop that cannot game. Priority is school so if the Razer cannot cope with battery and such, Ill go with the Mac. P.S Budget is around 2400 Euros. Thank you for taking your time reading my thread, and helping me out Ryan,

    DSL Problem

Thanks for the efforts, I've worked out a solution which involves changing the provider. Turns out the old provider was using a different method, and the new provider allows the home line not to be connected to the modem. Therefore I can connect the homephone where it was, all I had to do was change provider. Thanks again and sorry for the late reply mate!
  13. Sorry for the late reply, Im going to buy the from the CM Store EU as they have the cheapest shipping with the US Qwerty layout, thanks for the help everyone
  14. They want €46.69 which is still quite a lot, but if no other options are available I guess I'll have to go with it.
  15. Thanks, Ill give it a look
  16. So I'm looking for a clean CoolerMaster Master Keys Pro RGB (S) with Cherry MX Brown switches, but with an american layout. I've found lots all over american stores but the shipping to my country (Malta) located in europe costs nearly as much as the keyboard. The price of the keyboard is around 120 dollars, and shipping was 90 dollars, which is way to much to fork out for just a keyboard. I'm not looking for any alternatives but I'm asking for some help finding an EU shop that will ship this keyboard with an american layout, all the german websites I've stumbled upon have the german layout which I am not interested in. Thank you for your time, Ryan.

    DSL Problem

Problem for me is everything is made of tiles and there is no gap in which to hide the wire. As it is tiles cutting out a groove for the wires is not an option. This was the standard of living in my country and wooden boards only have been introduced recently.

    DSL Problem

My main interest is in moving the modem etc.. Into room 2, but if I somewhat did that the other way round and connect the (ROOM 1) old router (Which will be the wireless network bridge) to the wireless (ROOM 2)modem, and allow that to translate it to a RJ11 and connect it into the phone. It will be easy to hide the old router somewhere in room 1.

    DSL Problem

Does this exist?: DSL Wireless Receiver, I connect the Phone to it with a RJ11 cable, and connect the wireless ADSL Modem to it. If this exists and does not work like that, maybe I would get a wireless receiver and one that sends over the signal or whatever it is called. As you clearly can see I lack much knowledge in this area of networking. Thank you for your time, Ryan.
