  1. Hello, I am having an issue with my Ryzen 5 3600 with overheating. When I stress test my CPU with CPU-Z, Furmark, and Prime95, I usually get around 65c with my new AIO that I just got. I also only pull about 46w. For reference, my old Hyper 212 EVO managed to get around 70-72c. However, when I click "Apply & Test" in Ryzen Master, my CPU will jump to almost 90c (over 90c with my 212 Evo) and my CPU wattage jumps to over 90w. When I am idling, sometimes my CPU jump from its normal 32-33c temp to 45-50c completely randomly. I am including some pictures of my stress tests: -Picture 1 is doing "Apply & Test" on Ryzen Master -Picture 2 is CPU-Z -Picture 3 is also CPU-Z but with no overclock (all others are slightly overclocked). -Picture 4 is Furmark CPU Burner with no overclock Is this normal, or is there something very wrong with my cooling and/or CPU? I never really see these temps in any games, but it does get awfully high when playing a more taxing game like RE4 (74c usually). Is there something I can do to get these temps down? Reapply my thermal paste? Take my waterblock off of the splitter I have and plug it straight into the CPU-FAN header (and plugging in the Rad fans to my chasis header)? For context: I just recently updated to Windows 11, and updated all my drivers too to see if that would fix any of these issues and it hasn't. I also noticed that stock voltages going to my CPU in Ryzen Master are 1.41875 V. 2. I want to upgrade my PC. I play War Thunder a lot and Pavlov VR (sometimes) and I get meh fps (70-50fps normally). I want to get better performance out of my computer, but I don't know which part of my computer is the most deserving of an upgrade. I don't know if my CPU is a good match for my GPU and vice versa or if one is bottle necking the other. I have around $500 to spare and I want the best bang for my buck (aka I don't want to spend more than I need to). Which part of my PC should I upgrade? CPU or GPU? Cooler or Motherboard? Also, my room gets pretty hot because of my computer, does anybody know whether or not a AIO Water Cooler would put less heat out into my room? TIA!! Currently, my PC specs are: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 Graphics Card: GTX 1070 Gigabyte Motherboard: Asus B350M CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Storage: 2.5tb hard drive, 360gb ssd Power Supply: Corsair CX 450M Monitor: Samsung CFG70 144hz (100% don't recommend this monitor. I can't actually play in 144hz, screen turns blacks into purple. I only use 120hz right now so it works fine) Case and Motherboard are in a Micro-ATX form factor.
  3. My computer restarted and now my screen is just black with a cursor on it that I can move. What do I do?
  4. I just did it through windows without the USB. Does basically the same thing I think.
  5. BIOS has been updated but I didn't reinstall the OS. I haven't messed with computers for a while and I don't remember how to reinstall the OS.
  6. I just installed my new Ryzen 5 3600 today (had a 1600) and when I started it up, it is stuttering. I tried doing some games and they all stutter bad too. I looked up how to fix it and someone said go to Device Manager and right click on anything that has an exclamation point next to it. On "Other Devices" in device manager, it has 2 "PCI Device" things with exclamation points in them. The Hardware Ids it gave me are: PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_148A&SUBSYS_87C01043&REV_00, PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_148A&SUBSYS_87C01043, PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_148A&CC_130000, and PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_148A&CC_1300. Where do I find these? Or is there an easier way to fix the stuttering? TIA!
  7. Is it better? Also, do you know anything about update asus bios because I just did it and its not showing anything on my display. I copied that cap file to a usb drive and then clicked read and it loaded it but it wont show anything on the display now.
  8. I game mostly and I can tell my 1600 is starting to fall behind. Thanks for the reply! If I remember, I'll try to get back to you on how big the difference is.
  9. Right now I got a Ryzen 5 1600 and GTX 1070 and 8gb of ram (i know its not enough another, stick is on its way) and the Ryzen 7 2700X is on sale for only $200 (I bought my 1600 new for $210)! I really think I should buy it but I am not sure if my B350 motherboard will work with it. I heard some people say you have to change stuff in the bio but I'm not sure. Will a 2700X work in a B350 motherboard and is it worth the upgrade from a 1600? TIA!
  10. Anyone know of some reliable websites where I can get white shine thru keycaps? I just missed the drop on massdrop and i dont know of any good places to get some. Budget: $40 tops
