I found a little bit around the internet on this but I wasn't able to find a solution that worked for me. I got a 2700x a couple months ago, and while it's great, it has a tendency to randomly heat up, reach a fan speed threshold, then cool down immediately. It typically happens between 40 and 50 degrees Celcius. I've got a Wraith Max on it, and I've tried to adjust the fan curves in my BIOS to fix the issue, but with no luck. It's really annoying to constantly hear the fans ramp up and slow down, when I'm just browsing the internet. Any ideas?
