  1. Samesong evo 860 1tb, wd black performance 512gb m.2. And the case was made for atx but I can change it to fit other sizes.
  2. Case home made out of wood and steel, osu 750w 80+ gold, ssd m.2 500gb, and a 1tb sata ssd. Sorry if I'm annoying you. I don't know a tone about computers and I just don't want to pay to much on a cpu that I don't need
  3. I live in Canada, if I have to give a budget i would say for cpu, ram, and motherboard, less then 1500cad. For graphics cards i can get them pretty cheap from a friend so I'm not tacking that into accunt. But I feel like spending that much on a 1080p computer is overkill. I have a case, cooler, ssd, and power upply. Already. Thanks for your help
  4. I need; cpu, ram, motherboard, and gpu. I can buy a core i9 and a gtx 1080ti if I need to, but I feel like that's over kill. My problem i don't want to spend a tone of money on a pc that's overkill for what I use it for. Thanks for the help h&m
  5. So I'm putting together a new build and I need help picking out components. When ever I ask for help people, they ask how much is my budget and I don't have one. I can spend as much or as little as needed. I would like to play my games at 60fps on a 1080p monitor. the games I play are primarily RTS games like total war, in the past on bigger battles my fps drops really low. I would like to buy the cheapest components i need so I can play at 60fps on bigger battles. Thanks for tacking your time
  6. do you think that a new i5 or ryzen 5 1600x do the job or should i go straight to a i7 8700k. and what gpu would you say? would a 1070 8gb do the trick?
  7. i'll probably just end up doing that, i just don't know if i should spend more on a higher end gpu or just get a better cpu
  8. Don't really have one, i would say around $1500 put i can go higher.
  9. So i want to build a new Computer. i don't have a budget but less is always better, it really doesn't need to be that powerful. most of the games i play are games like; League of legends, destiny, and a lot of older FPS games.(1080p monitor) But my favorite games are the Total war series. In the past when i play total war i get about 60 fps on a 1080p monitor but when i get into large battle late game, my fps drops to around 11 fps. i don't know if i should just buy a new cpu, motherboard, and ram? or just get a all new Computer. I really just want to play my games and get at least 60fps, i heard that total war is cpu intensive, so i don't know if just getting a new cpu would fix the problem. One other thing i do have two monitors, but i only use one for gaming. Any help would be appreciated Right now i have a older i5( what ever was new 4 years ago) and a Gtx 1060 3gb, and 8 GB of ddr 3 ram.
  10. So I have a corsair 100 case, I wanted to start getting into water cooling. The only place I could fit a 240mm radiator would be the front, but then I could only install a 120mm for that radiator in the front and one in the back. Or would two 120mm radiators(one front, one in the back) be better?
  11. Hello, so I want to upgrade my computer but I don't know what is the best bang for the buck. Right now I have a amd fx 8320, 8gb of ram, Amd 285, 750w power supply, 2t hard drive, and a 240gb ssd. The games I like to play most are; Total War Warhammer, league of legends, and civilization 5. I have about $600 saved up, but I just started a new job so I can spend more if needed.
