  1. Thanks for the fast replies. Sadly waiting is not an option because my current phone is completly unuseable and I do not have a backup phone (a thing I would now recommend to have). I have looked at the oneplus offerings and none of them have a headphone jack. And I just bought new quality in-ears last year... D Edited post (really should have done that from the start). Location is Germany The S10e is a good option. The even smaller battery (same size as S7) and the lower resolution are things that bug me about it. A positive point is the lack of a curved screen of course Maybe it is just me, but whenever I turned the resolution of my S7 down to 1080p I immediantly noticed the difference. Maybe this is not so extrem when 1080p is the native resolution of the display...? The fact that the camera is in the corner is the best solution IMO. Aside from pop-up cameras like in the oneplus 7 pro. Overall it seems that most of you say that the S10 is a good upgrade but that I should look into cheaper alternatives or OnePlus. Prizing is now added in the OP
  2. Hey members of the linustechtips forum, I managed to break the display on my long loved Galaxy S7 (3.5 years of daily use) the other day. Now I am in need of a new smartphone and i need quality answers form quality people, this is the reason why i came here. Currently my eyes are on the Galaxy S10 because it checks the most boxes for me My boxes: -doesnt cost an obnoxious amount of money -2k resolution -headphone jack -optical image stabalization (OIS) -no notch or at least it is in the corner -kinda waterresistant -fast charge Obiously a phone does not have to check all the boxes. Do you boys an girls have any other recommendations over the S10? Has anybody experienced the batterylife on the S10 and is it any good? Thank you very much for your time Edit prices: S10 ~ 570€ S10e ~ 480€ S10 Lite ~ 580€ OnePlus 7 ~ 470€ OnePlus 7t ~ 530€ OnePlus 7 Pro ~ 615€
  3. What a bummer... Only thing i could recommend with my non-existing vm experience would be server cards like the Firepro S10000 or Nvidia Grid K1 (if the singlecard solution is necessary) But i have no clue if they would actually work
  4. Would be awesome if you could post the answer from L1 here. I am curious
  5. I could see a HD7990 getting hot in Brazil Futhermore it will have a much higher power consumtion than the GTX960 A HD7990 should be faster than a GTX960. Even with Crossfire turned off Don't know about virtualization. Might want to look at a Firepro S10000 which could have a higher chance of supporting virtualization
  6. What mobo du you have? Could you send a photo of the tool? Some mainboards have a Feature which overclocks your cpu automaticly. In that case we would need more info on your mainboard, cooling and powersupply
  7. Then I would said "go for the S7". Because I dont think the low-end samsung phones are a good value. Huawei OS Design is a mix between IOS and Touch Wiz from my point of view
  8. I am currently using a S7 32GB (non edge, exynos cpu) I have had a different experience with my phone than @FlappyBoobs Since the time I bought it (2 years and 2 month ago) i may have experienced a small loss in system responsiveness/speed The fingerprint scanner comes down to personal preference. I like it where it is. The camera is still really good (cant compete with s9 and all the late 2018 phones obviously). The settings menu is really not user friendly (classic samsung problem) Screen is great If you drop your phone (you will drop it) --> get a case or for little protection a dbrand skin I dropped it plenty times without a case and skin First glass damage after the maybe 7th drop. Consider the Huawei p20 lite or the new motorola g series Recommended my sister the two phones above and the s7 She picked the huawei because it looked the most "modern" and has a lot of features
  9. The crosshair still has the AM3 and AM3+ mounting points i think. If thats true you dont have to worry about that.
  10. Hey guys i have the same issue. Setup Gtx 1070 from kfa2 (galax) Ryzen 5 1600 Asus x370 prime Nvidia live support is not aware of this problem! At least the one i chatted with
