  1. Is Intel transferring over local network or over their servers? What I don't like is , it's not transferring files locally, it is limited by the wifi plan I've ! Which is a disappointment ,also makes no sense to use over SMB and solid explorer or the built-in network connection feature of iOS. Also kinda looks like a privacy risk if files are first being sent to Intel servers Anyone has any insight to this? should I keep using intel to transfer stuff or just stay with SMB/ network shared drives?
  2. But even if I get a Quadro p2000 which costs around 30k"inr" has 1024 cuda cores , and 4 x dp port 1.4"which is great" but similarly priced RX 570 has double stream cores , 1dp port 1.4 , 1 HDMI 2.0 , 2 dvi . Same varies from vendor to vendor , so I'm damn confused right now?. "Just for an eg , we gotta play graphics at a show which has different LEDs u @ 5280*2820 resolution for which we currently use Mac pro "cylinder" , so should I buy 1 high end GPUs or should I buy 2 midrange ones and run them separately? Someone on Reddit suggested me to use RX 560 and get a mst hub.
  3. For smooth playback on resolume arena Linus already made a video over workstation and consumer graphics cards , Quadros are over priced and I want Vega . Even newest Imac uses vega so I just wanted to confirm if I can get similar display outs like imac with Vega cards on pc.
  4. I am building a workstation , I need maximum display outs as much as possible for graphics playouts on shows. Should I opt for new imac pro as it directly supports - " Two 5120‑by‑2880 (5K) external displays at 60Hz with support for 1 billion colors, or Four 3840-by-2160 (4K UHD) external displays at 60Hz with support for 1 billion colors, or Four 4096‑by‑2304 (4K) external displays at 60Hz with support for millions of colors Support for extended desktop and video mirroring modes Thunderbolt 3 digital video output Native DisplayPort output over USB-C" But I want to go with TR! Or what can I do to get similar outs on my custom build? " ain't gonna game". should I opt for 2 RX 580s or a single vega 64/56? 'which one?' https://in.pcpartpicker.com/list/WL6JCy
  5. Try disabling OSD lock in display settings.
  6. I used to have same issues randomly Removing and reinserting graphics card solved it , later on again had that issue so I did the same with RAM it posted! Somewhere I read that it could be cause of humidity. Or maybe my RAM which isn't in the prime x370pro Asus compatibility list might be the issue , I performed memtest twice. Everything fine . But randomly once in a while I get this no display, might be ryzen 5 , might be Mobo or free sync I thought it's GPU but even during high gpu tasks such as video rendering over GPU everything works fine . ?
  7. Please check your monitor settings, if there's any option like OSD lock , disable it. My monitor used to show weird resolution, disabling that helped.
  8. True , but what about that new optimized AMD balanced profile ? Cause I haven't installed those newer April 17 drivers.
  9. Which chipset drivers should I install for Ryzen? AMD one's http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows+10+-+64 size 400MB Or From the motherboard manufacturer's? https://www.asus.com/us/support/Download/1/51/0/5/s7csF4UqmJykbmtW/30/ size 1.3GB
  10. Cpu-L for all desktop /Laptop/workstation related CPU specs. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ijsoft.cpul Gpu-L for all graphics architecture/series related specs. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ijsoft.gpul
  11. LEDs turning on is normal as soon as psu Powers your mobo. Check if you've connected CPU fan header ! And please check if you've connected display connector/HDMI to Graphics card out and not on motherboard out As ryzen doesn't have embedded GPU!
  12. Thanks for the info I've one more query Is it okay if my processor voltage spikes for 1sec or lower upto 1.5v and clock speed upto 4ghz without overclocking At idle and it stays upto 1.32v at max on load Everything is set to auto in bios Can those random spikes cause any damage?
  13. So I reinstalled windows 10 from scratch, started installing drivers , Asus ai suit 3 caught my eyes It used to be kinda stable on Intel platform. So I wanted to try it out I ran it into optimized mode and it the started some tests , stress test with couple reboots for 55secs And then vola! 4.1ghz with 1.567v and then lovely blue screen! Even in bios it was running at 3.9ghz @1.5v so I kinda got scared and I removed CMOS battery followed by resetting bios ! After that I manually set CPU to 3.825ghz @ 1.270v Ran cpuz stress test over it , but Sexo blue screen shown up again! Hardware with error. Then I clicked on power save mode in ai suit , it did something dope! 2.351Ghz @1.5Volts !!!!!! I immediately shifted to performance mode Its Workin fine now but I'm still worried about Asus ai suit getting my CPU fried up! Btw I'm using cooler Master liquid 120 lite This is my first ryzen build so kinda skeptical about it ?
