about 6 to 8 hours with just word or something would be great,
I have to take it with me in my backpack, so not too big; the weight doesn't really matter, as long as it is less than say 5 kilos; the display doesn't really matter; and non-upgradeable ram also doesn't matter if it is at least 8 gb
I need a laptop for school,
max 800 euro/pound, delivery to the netherlands,
It needs a decent battery, a touch screen would be nice, and the overall specs should be good enough, but don't need to be extreme
I need a laptop for school lab work,
about 400 euro,
doesn't need to be super powerful, but also not incredibly slow
I don't need any special IO ports, a touchscreen would be fun, but not nessecary
I am looking to buy a new cpu, and I noticed some cpu's have a lot of instruction sets, and some just two or three.
does this matter? does it impact performance in any way?
I am not sure if I should spend the extra 100 euro for the i3.
right now I have a core i5-4460, so I believe they would both be a good upgrade
(I will also buy a new motherboard, the i5-4460 has a 1150 socket)
