  1. And now everything's plugged, I'm in the browser, and everything's fine. What the hell is going on here?
  2. I don't, I'm waiting for vega, god damn amd's soul
  3. I put my new ryzen 1600 under 100% load just to test it out. (everything was lagging, but whatever) it's important to note that my gpu was in the 40 celsius range, and my cpu didn't exceed 50 (I was only testing cpu, not gpu) so it isn't heat issue. My build is completely new, except for my graphics card that's 4-5 years old and PSU that's 2 years old and that has 700w supply (according to pcpartpicker, I currently generate around 300w). But then I opened browser and my monitor instantly shut off. I checked the case and saw that gpu wasn't spinning (but cpu and chassis fans were still on), but the buttons on my case were also unresponsive. My initial thought was that it was gpu. I shut the power supply, disconnected my second monitor and powered it up again, this time I turned the music on and went into the browser again. Surely, my monitor shut off and music stopped. On the third attempt I disconnected all the usb cables from my pc, turned off my case lighting, and powered it on again. I noticed that my motherboard's LED lit up only by approximately 10% - a little red spot. I went around my house and powered all the appliances I could, as well as turned on all the lights. I also ran the same CPU test as before. It's been 30 minutes since that moment and nothing has happened my pc yet. Am I right to assume that it's PSU, or could it be motherboard, or some electrical issue like short circuit? Thanks
  4. ahahahahahhaa I'm just fucking stupid I accidentally deleted my mic's drivers and the next time I connected it, it thought that it was a speaker (it has an output), that's why my speakers turned off and as for the other stuff... i don't know, maybe I did some stupid shit as well, for all my usb devices work flawlessly right now, including my second monitor another few hours wasted
  5. I've just recently put up a ryzen build with asus prime x370. So far I had only speakers, steam controller dongle, keyboard and mouse connected, but decided it was time to connect my second monitor, mic and usb drive, and that's when everything went to shit. Whenever I connect anything (first monitor's usb hub, second monitor, usb mic or really WHATEVER) my speakers stop working until I unplug the device. If I restart, then the mobo will decide on the "most" important device to work and turn off the others (that's how I got non-working rgb until I reinstalled aura) I've also tried reinstalling usb drivers and connecting my pc to another wall sockets... NOTHING. What the hell? Did I buy a mobo with 10 usbs that can only factually use 4?
  6. So I'm used to cutting the power to my pc after shutting it down, therefore I have this problem when I start the pc it goes through a few cycles of restarting and then either boots as normal or gives me the overclocking error. I've read that it shouldn't be happening anymore in the new 0612 bios update. Okay, I might stop cutting the power altogether, but even when I restart my pc it shuts down or restarts a few times (fans stop spinning). I've done nothing with my RAM except for choosing the mobo's suggested DOCP profile. It happens even on 2667mhz. Then there's the problem with my ryzen 1600, it's always at 30-35 celsius with spikes to 45 when running idle. Is that normal? ...and its cooler, where I can only adjust its speed in the bios settings and not in the xfan expert, and it doesn't go lower than 20% - it wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't loud (xfan expert shows that on 20% it's 960 rpm, but on 100% it's 920? what?). It's plugged into CPU_FAN Also, I can't seem to find where to turn off the LED lighting. Plus, I'm not sure what's wrong, but I have my front panel audio connectors connected to the AFFP header, yet when I plug in speakers, realtek doesn't pop up and doesn't show me that anything is connected. Also, my mobo detects 2 keyboards? I'd be thankful for any input. my system: ryzen 1600 with stock cooler asus prime x370 corsair vengeance lpx3200 16gb
  7. I'm looking to buy this stick HyperX 16GB DDR4 - 2133 CL14 288 HyperX Fury Black and I can't find it on supported vendors list. All I can find is support to 8gb and 4gb sticks... Can I overclock in the future?
  8. but it only has 3 fan connectors only hahaha I guess the only way to get all of that is to go 370
  9. Okay, I see why MSI Tomahawk and GA-AB350-Gaming 3 are better. It sounds stupid, but while GA-AB350-Gaming 3 has 6 satas, MSI Tomahawk is white to match my build. WHAT DO I DO THIS IS HARD.
  10. What specs? What's the upside for that? fan controller isn't cheap either
  11. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-B350-PLUS/ https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-X370-PRO/ True. Some say that Blue Nessie, on the other hand, doesn't run on 3.0
  12. I'm not sure which one to buy. The b350 is 50 eur cheaper and has usb 2.0 on the back (which I need, and x370 doesn't). All the while, x370 has 4 fan headers and b350 only has 2, and I'm planning on having a 4-fan build and I want to control them. I'm not planning on SLI. Is there anything that I might be overlooking in the greatness of x370 that might not be listed in the specs section? Greater audio, perhaps, i.e. less interference? Thanks in advance! Bonus question: x370 has 2 more slots in the "audio" compartment. They're black and beige. What are they for?
