    Good day and a Merry festive season to all. This post is made more for a buddy of mine in the process of building a new system, he wants to go AMD and has seen the MSI x570-A Pro for sale I also checked the e-tailer he wants to shop from and saw the Asrock x570 Pro4 and think its slightly better for the price range. Any one with any feedback on these boards? also which do you guys think is better? links below to the boards.     When was this stated? I had no idea but if that is the case I'll save up and wait for Ryzen 4000 series

    Depending on what you want from it, if you are going to do 1080p gaming only then I suggest not worrying about anything else and get the 2060, I would suggest a AMD RX 5700xt but those are around $400 to $420 depending on whether you want to deal with the terrible stock cooler or not

    Even though its a 120mm AIO I have two noctua fans in push pull, with the 3700x's lower TDP it should be more than adequate since Im getting like 68c with the 2600x when stress testing the CPU, but if that turns out to not be enough Im more than willing to get something like the Be Quiet! Dark Rock 4 to do the job

    In some ways you can say I want to do it "just because" but my logic is more sound than that, I'll be able to keep the same setup for longer without having to upgrade, The TDP of the 3700x is much lower than the 2600x so my thermals would be better, and from what I recall Ryzen 3000 series will be the last using the AM4 platform, so this is the highest upgrade path (barring the 3800x and 3900x and possible 3950x) which still won't leave me broke when I decide I do the upgrade, so its a lot more "future proof"

    Ah my apologies will update them now, my current specs are AMD 2600x, Asus x470 Strix gaming F, coolermaster 120l RGB, 16gb GSkills DRR4 RAM @ 3200mhz and a few SSDs for storage.

    Hi all. So I know this pretty simple since I know its possible but what I would like to know is whether it will be worth it to do so in terms of performance? Also what would this increase in performance mean in games? You're more than welcome to share links so I can also make an informed decision by myself.

    I'm aware they the P400a just came out but any idea if you will be able to fit the front panel from the P400a to the P400s? The P400s is truly a great case but when it comes to air flow it sucks hard.

    The hyper 212 is still in use as my old PC is now my little brothers PC. At this moment im leaning toward the DR4 since it also looks really good

    Coming from a i5 2500k cooled by a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo the pump noise is mostly new to me, is having the pump run at 100% at all times good? Or should I let the BIOS ramp up the speed of the pump when it wants? I don't mind keeping it for another year or so, just paranoid since im new to using AIOs

    So some context before I ask my final question/s, I have a Cooler Master ML120m AIO water cooler in push pull on my AMD Ryzen 2600x, I've had this set up for over a year now and I use the PC mostly for gaming. Recently I've encountered some ridiculous pump noise coming from the AIO (mostly the sound of water moving almost like a gargling sound but I have the pump running at 100% so maybe that's my problem?) even at idle. The clocks I get are good and the temps I get are good as well ( 68c after about an hour of gaming which to me is fine). Now to my main worry, I hate the sound of the pump and the gargling sound it makes I have zero confidence in leaving the PC on overnight in fear that the AIO will spill it's guts at any second, I'm pretty much ready to go back to air cooling. My first question is how are the clock speeds and temps on an adequate air cooler such as the dark rock 4 or the Noctua nh-u14s? Also which one is the better between the two?. Sorry for the lengthy explanation but I hope someone, anyone, can give me good feedback preferably with some temps. Also if it's any help I have the Phanteks P400s case.

    So a buddy of mine is looking to upgrade his RAM on his HP 15-bs105ni which currently sports 4GB of RAM at 2400mhz speed. I did recommend a 16GB RAM kit at 3000mhz speed for him but I'm worried the laptop will never be able to clock the RAM at those speeds, so if anyone has info on this particular laptop model with regards to this topic any and all advice would be welcome. Thank you.

    Looking for the cheapest GPU I can get for 4k HEVC playback. I am looking into the RX 550 at the moment as it needs to be low power for a HTPC I have. Any advice would be amazing. Thank you.

    Looking into buying a new set of headphones(Actually this will be my first pair as I've always used in-ear earphones). I will most likely be using it to play music mostly from my phone and some gaming. I would like to know how these 3 perform in terms of clarity and would it be worth it to overlook both the Senheiser and the House of Marley in favour of the Steel Series as its the only one here that I know of that's capable of 7.1 surround sound when hooked up to the PC. Also I am fully aware that the price of the Good Vibrations 2 doesn't match the other two in price but if it is comparable in any way I may consider it as an option as saving a few bucks would be appreciated.

    Thanks for the info, will be going with the Asus board then, wont be doing any crazy LN2, I might overclock but very mildly as I've noticed the over clocking headroom for these CPUs are very little. Thanks everyone.

    So I won't have issues with 1x8pin then? I was leaning toward the ASUS then got worried when I saw the MSI board had 2x8pin and was worried about any power issues I may incur, mostly because I'd like to try and OC even if its just a bit.

    I am looking to upgrade to Ryzen plus, the boards I have in mind is the MSI x470 Gaming Pro Carbon and the x470 ASUS Gaming-F, With regards to features both of these boards are pretty much the same, however, the MSI board has 2x8pin CPU power on the board and the Asus board only has 1x8pin CPU power, my question here is what are the benefits of having 2x8pin over 1x8pin? I'm looking to get the Ryzen 5 2600x which has a TDP of 95w.

    I used OMV before, I used to have issues with it so I wasnt very happy with it.
