Well, I'm a newbie for PC build. I wanna build a portable PC that can travel with me.
I personally do play a lot of heavy-load games (VR included), and sometimes I stream and edit video on PC.
My goal is to keep the budget below US $3000, and it has to be portable.
There are few points that I'm really worried about:
1. The CPU
I heard so many people say that compact build needs certain CPU, so instead of high-frequency overclocking CPU, should I just go for a locked CPU?
If I do need a locked CPU, what would be the best choice? If not so, what's the better CPU other than 7700k? (Performance-wise, but still under the budget)
2. The power supply
The one is around 450w I suppose. If I have a power supply of 600w would it damage other components?
3. Heat issues
In this build like this, I'm a little worried about with the over-heating problems. What do I need to keep in mind when building something like this.
4. Monitor
Any recommendation for the best quality and portable monitor?
