So ive had this problem for a while now. One day i was playing a game when all of a sudden my monitor loses signal and my graphics card fans go full speed sounding like a jet engine. I removed my graphics card and ran on integrated graphics and the problem seemed to be fixed. i then put the graphics card back in but was still connected to integrated graphics and this time my monitor didnt lose signal but after a few minutes of being powered on again my graphics card fans went full speed. i tried setting the fans speed manually and connected my monitor to my graphics card but after a few minutes of being powered on my monitor again lost signal but my graphics card fans stayed the same. Ive sent it in for the 3rd time now and every time is comes back the problem comes back after a few weeks or days. Could it be something else in my computer causing this? IS it a software issue? I have a 650w evga supernova g1 power supply and a Asus gtx 1080 graphics card. maybe its not receiving enough power? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I made a post explaining the issue last night but ill give a brief summary. Turn my pc on starts normally after a few minutes my screen goes black and gpu fans go full speed. This has happened 3 times over the past 3 months and ive rmad it 3 times but still nothing. I connected my monitor to intel integrated graphics but left my gpu in. Checked msi after burner and everything seemd fine. My voltage was at 0 dont know if thats a problem. I set my fan speed to 40% auto and restarted my pc and connected the monitor to the gpu. Started normally but after a few minutes again my screen went black but this time my fans stayed normal at the 40% i had set them to. Somebody please help when i remove the gpu everything runs fine on integrated graphics. Please help! Any would be greatly appreciated! I have a Asus gtx 1080. Not sure if the model matters.

So around 2 months ago i was using my pc normally when all of a sudden my pc monitor turns black and my system fans go crazy. Removed graphics card ( Asus gtx 1080) everything runs perfectly on intel integrated graphics. Sent it in, they claimed to have fixed it. Worked fine for about 1 month but then again it happened, same problem. Sent it in around 3 weeks ago, got it back 3 days ago. Worked fine but tonight again the exact same problem even after they sent me a “new” card. What do i do. Ive speent over $100 on shipping maybe you guys can help. I turn on my pc everything runs normally buy after a few minutes screen goes black and all the fans in my pc go full speed. Never overclocked. Could it be my PSU? Got an evga supernova g1 650w. When i remove my graphics card everything works perfectly fine. Somebody, anybody, please help!

I was using my pc fine last night however when i shut it down i noticed that everything turned off. Ussually when i turn it off the lights from my headset are still on and 5e mohterboard lights were also on but this time nothing. I thought nothing of it but now in the morning it wont power on. Nothing comes from it. No lights on the motherboard or nothing it just doesnt want to turn on. Poease help ive already had to rma my motherboard, and graphics card twice and my moms gonna think this whole thing was a giant waste of money. Specs: i7-7700k 16gb corsair ram Asus strix z270e motherboard evga supernova g1 650w asus gtx 1080( cyrrently rmad)

Yep it is my graphics card, my fans no longer go full speed and everything runs perfectly now that i took it out, thank you for helping me figure it out, will now have to wait even longer to play games lol

Everything seemed normal besides the fans running at full speed so i shut it off and ran from my gpu, but before it could fully start my fans went full speed and my screen went black
