  1. I don't know about the wireless part, but the PS4 uses the same 4-poll 3.5mm connecter for game chat on the controller as the Xbox One controller. So you should be able to find a recommendation for a headset here. Lord Snax
  2. Howdy All, I am looking for a multi-platform gaming headset to use with my PC and Xbox One, and I am looking for some input. My budget is anywhere from $60-$100 USD. I will mainly be using the headset on my PC, and I will be using the chat cable to chat with friends on my Xbox. A few things I am looking for in the headset. - I like a physical mic mute switch. I do not like buttons, unless the button is a latch button - I am a bit of an audiophile, so good sound quality would be nice. - No wireless headphones, I like my wires. Edit: I would like to be able to keep the headset plugged into the PC while I am using it with my Xbox, to play my music while gaming. Thanks for any input, Lord Snax
  3. Yup! ASRock just released an update (P2.50) that fixed my memory issue. I am running both RAM sticks at 2667Mhz with no problem. Thanks for the help everybody! Lord Snax
  4. What are you calling "sdr" and "ddr"? Single rank and duel rank? The RAM I have is single rank RAM. According to ASRock tech support, the RAM kit I have should work. They got their test machine with the same model motherboard and RAM to run at 2666Mhz. So I followed their advice to RMA the board. The new one should be here Monday (the 22nd) and I will see if that fixes the issue. Lord Snax
  5. I see on the website and in the motherboard's manual a listing about single rank and dual rank modules. I have no idea witch rank I have as its not listed on the RAM sticks. So if I understand what you are saying correctly, I should get faster RAM?
  6. Okay, that is weird. Its possible that the Cisco modem is set to not use WiFi. Have you tried calling your internet service provider? They may be able to help. The first thing they will have you do is a hard reset. Which is where you unplug all your network equipment for 1 minute and plug them back in one at a time. Starting with the modem onto the router and than anything else, network switches, computers, etc. Make sure you wait for the equipment to power up fully before moving to the next one. Try that and see if it works. One more thing, is your network equipment near anything, like a microwave or something of that sort? I still think there is some interference somewhere. Also try searching around, see if someone has a fix for your issue with Arma. Who knows, maybe the Arma support website has a fix.
  7. Well, ASRock says their Corsair Vengeance kit works at 2666MHz with no issues, and they are suggesting that I exchange the motherboard and RAM. What do you guys think?
  8. Thanks for the info. I just started up Witcher 3 shortly after posting my last post and my PC crashed. So still not stable enough.
  9. My motherboard strangely only jumps in .05 volt increments, I tried 2400MHz at 1.35 volts but didn't get anywhere. I am also working with ASRock Tech Support and he is having me run with one stick and see if that helps. So far, he had me enable XMP profile at 2400MHz and it is much more stable with a few random restarts here and there, but no restarts yet with aida64 stress test.
  10. How far should I push the voltage? My motherboard red flags the voltage field when I try to input anything higher than 1.3 volts.
  11. I am running the latest version listed on the ASRock website. BIOS ver. 2.40.
  12. Howdy All, I have have a RAM issue with my new build. My Build, CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 mobo: ASRock AB350M Pro4 BIOS ver. P2.40 RAM: 16GB 2666MHz 2x8GB SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB HDD: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM GPU: EVGA Nvidia 1060 6GB SSC PSU: Corsair CX600M 600 Watt Case: Master Case Pro 3 by Cooler Master The RAM I originally purchased was a 2666MHz 16GB RAM kit by G.Skill. As I was testing I could not get the RAM to run any faster than 2133MHz. When I would try to set the motherboard to run the RAM at 2666MHz via the XMP profile settings, the motherboard would not POST. Checking the RAM compatibility list on ASRock's website, something I should have done the first time, I noticed that my G.Skill RAM kit was not on the list. After some research I picked up a Corsiar Vengeance LPX 16GB 2666MHz kit that was labeled on the compatibility list. After much trial and error, I am back at square one. I still cannot get the Corsair kit to run faster than 2133MHz. I was able to get it to run at 2400MHz but the RAM was very unstable. Even at 1.3v, the highest my motherboard would go before it starts red flagging my settings. I really wanted to run my RAM at 2666MHz, but I am at a loss here, and am unsure what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lord Snax
  13. I don't think your WiFi card is slow. Check the computer, make sure you don't have any programs that are using up internet on your computer. Sometimes computers get filled up with programs that just slowdown your WiFi connection. Check it with programs like Malware-bytes and Spy-Bot Search and Destroy. Another thing to check is to make sure there are no power cables that are too close to the WiFi Antennas on the back of your PC. They can cause interference and slow down the WiFi card. If all else fails try moving the computer or router closer to each other and see if that helps, your PC may have a weak signal. WiFi works best when it has a direct line of sight, meaning there is nothing between the computer and router.
  14. Electronics Wizardy is right. You will still need to setup port forwarding on the LTE router/modem to make it work. I needed to do this a while ago for a couple of security cameras so I could access them remotely and Verizon Wireless was the internet company I had at the time. They told me that I needed a static IP address and only way to get one was to purchase one through them which costs a whopping $500 USD. I ended up using TeamViewer to access the cameras remotely instead, it was free. There is a company called NO-IP. They provide DNS host names, look into it, and if the LTE internet provider says you will need a static IP, try telling them that you have the dynamic IP address issue taken care of with NO-IP, I don't know if it will work, but it is worth a try. Just curious, what are you planning to do that needs port forwarding?
