  1. Hi, I was just wondering if a cooler hard disk perform better than a hotter one, or if a hard disk performs better in winter? Here, by high temperature, I mean 45*-46*C which my HDD stays at during summer. and by a cold temperature I mean 8*-10*C .
  2. I had version 4.3.0, I uninstalled it and cleaned its registry when uninstalling. Then installed beta 4.4.0. No changes, same result. See screenshot. There are no option to select graphics card, it is blurred. See screenshot. I think some other software might be conflicting. Oh and I have windows insider preview build 16278.rs3_release.170825-1441
  3. I just tried EVGA precision OC and it seems to work just fine. See screenshot. Checked device manager. Everything is fine, see screenshot.
  4. Hi. I got a MSI GTX 1050 Ti 4GT OC a few months ago. It works fine. Never had a problem with it at all! My Problem: I don't know since when its happening, but MSI Afterburner doesn't detect my graphics card and the graphics card driver version. See screenshot. It doesn't even let me use the slider (I'm not interested in overclocking tho). I think it might be happening after I installed Rockstar games social club for GTA 5. I installed it last week and I discovered that MSI afterburner is not detecting my graphics card on that day. And when MSI afterburner is running, social club crashes at startup. I'm 99% sure that it's not a hardware problem since every game runs just like before and similar software like GIGABYTE OC Guruji detects my GPU just fine, it even lets me control fan speed and core/memory clock without a problem. So it must be MSI afterburner? What I tried: I tried uninstalling graphics driver with DDU and reinstaling the latest one. Installing older 382.16 version. Reinstalling MSI afterburner, installing it's latest beta version. Doing a Windows Update. NOTHING WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!! Any help?
  5. I'm having the exact same problem. I uninstalled display driver with DDU and reinstalled it, also reinstalled MSI afterburner, tried latest beta version. Nothing seem to work. MSI afterburner won't detect the GPU and driver version and so it won't let me do anything. (see screenshot, all the sliders are blurred out and I can't change their position)
  6. Same here, but mine works 0% of the time. It doesn't detect GPU and the driver version! Need heeeeeelp
  7. Thanks, but in which slot should I connect the GTX 1050 Ti on my motherboard? I'm not good in these kind of stuffs.
  8. I saw benchmarks and GTX 1050 Ti is much better than RX460. (especially for GTA 5) Is there any problem if I go with GTX 1050 Ti?
  9. Then what should i do, please explain it well, cause I'm not good at these kind of stuffs.
  10. I guess that's gonna be overkill for my 1366x768 monitor, and lower price is better for me, cause im short on money, I'd like to upgrade my RAM instead of buying a costly GPU. And stick with something like GTX1050/RX460
  11. I'm not planning to upgrade my monitor any time soon at all. So i guess GTX 1050/ RX460 would be good for me. Which one should I get? The 2GB one or the 4GB one? And, from which manufacturer? In my place, there's GIGABYTE, MSI and ASUS for Nvidia graphics cards. And Sapphire and MSI for AMD. And, my monitor uses a VGA cable, do I have to use a VGA to HDMI converter to use it with modern HDMI only GPU? Okay, i can add in one more 4GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM, would that be good enough? Sorry, it's ThermalTake. The exact model is: LT-450NL2NK. Do i need to upgrade this?
  12. Hi. This is my first post here. Not sure if this is the right category to ask this question. I have an old desktop . I bought this pre built desktop 3 years ago. and now I want to upgrade my graphics card. My budget is 100-180 USD. I like the GTX 1050 Ti. But, can I use it on my computer? if not, which graphics card will be good for me? Here's my desktop specs: Power supply: ThermalTake 450 watt (Model:LT-450NL2NK) Motherboard: GIGABYTE H81M-S2PV Rev2.0 Processor: Intel Core i3 - 4160 @3.60 GHz RAM: 4GB DDR3 1600 MHz Storage: 1TB HDD Current graphics card: AMD Radeon HD5450, lol Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64x Monitor: 1366x768 resolution Dell monitor (Model: E1916HV) I want to play games like GTA 5 at highest settings with more than 40 FPS. I'm not a hardcore gamer. But, I might become a hardcore gamer after upgrading, who knows!?
