  1. The colors are for sure correct. I dont know where else in the process I might have failed.
  2. Hey. I recently installed new wires in my home. There is a paint diagram below. All of the red and blue cables were cut down from a large 40 meter cable I bought for this project. The idea was to pull out electrical cables that were running through the walls into power outlets. So I pulled out those cables and pushed in the red cables which have 1 terminal properly done and the other one was punched into the keystone by stripping, separating and punching in the wires with a tool. When I plug in computer 2 to the wall jack I installed, and that one to the switch in the roof and it works. However, over at room 1, if I connect it to the router it doesnt work. I tried to diagnose with computer 1 and the connection to the wall jack and the to the switch is intermittent. First, it says limited connection (which is normal because there is no internet to that switch), and next second it says no connection. I cant ping computer 2 either from computer 1. I guess I punched in the jack wrongly or something but I dont know how to know if that is the case. It definitely works in room 2. Thanks, if I made I wasnt clear please ask additional info you might need.
  3. My main reason to go for this laptop is the price. My max budget is $500. Can you recommend something else for that price?
  4. I am probably upgrading to 8GB of RAM. Its pretty easy and cheap.
  5. Hello. So I am looking to buy a budget laptop for school. I mostly need it for word processing and standard media consumption. I want it to be fast enough for these tasks without having to worry about lag all over the place. I would also like to do programming and CS:GO (but I think the iGPU is enough for this). My first choice is the Asus F555LA with a broadwell i3 and a 1080p screen. It also comes with 4GB of RAM and a 500GB HDD. I plan on spending some extra money on an SSD and 8GB of RAM. Does this processor have enough raw power? I would like to know if you own this PC or a similar one and what has been your experience with it. Thanks.
  6. I guess I am sticking with windows sharing then. I do have the old pc but not the drives.
  7. I dont know what the difference between the 100 and the normal rival is but I recently bought the normal rival and it is pretty great. I love it. I also bought a huge mouse pad (steelseries heavy) that i recommend too. I feel much more comfortable playing cs go and now i cant even go back to my old mouse (cheap old acer mouse). The black edition is pretty expensive on amazon for some reason but the white one is just 5$ more than the rival 100. http://www.amazon.com/Steelseries-1000HZ-50-6500-Coating-Optical/dp/B00Q1HFIXK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1448830161&sr=8-4&keywords=rival+100
  8. What would be the best way to implement something like this? I do not have money to buy new hardware and my current pc NEEDS to have windows (so i can game on it).
  9. I want to share folders from my main pc with others in the network including android phones. I have tried using the usual windows way but I find it unreliable as sometimes it will not work. Maybe I am just doing it wrong. Anyway, I wanted to know if there is an alternative to the Windows way that is easier and more reliable and gives me the compatibility I need. Thanks.
  10. It eventually crashed. It was stable at like +400 but then it crashes in game. Not even demanding ones. Even CS GO crashed but the benchmark is stable. I am really confused right now.
  11. Im kink of confused with the memory because I can bump it up to like +600 and it seems stable so I dont know if it is a really good overclocker or I am not testing it well.
  12. So after some testing I managed to get +120 Core, which is around 1500mhz. And memory is apparently stable at +400 which is like 3900mhz. I am satisfied with this results. The power limit is set to 110%
