As it turns out clearing the CMOS was all it took and it booted right up. Thank you all for your help I have never been so happy to see rainbow lights in my life!!

All the sticks lit up before the system auto shutdown. I will try the other suggested fixes asap. Thank you all for the quick responses!

I just purchased a quad channel set of trident z( FA-2400C15Q-32GTZR) for my Asrock x99 extreme4 motherboard and my system will not post with the sticks installed. Reinstalling my original Gskill ripjaws fixes the issue. I have the latest bios (3.60) and am wondering if there is a workaround for the fact that this particular variation of RAM is not listed on the compatibility charts for my MOBO. Am I at the mercy of waiting for a bios update to support this RAM or converting to a z170/270 chipset?Thanks in advance! cpu= 5820k (overclocked to 4.4) nothing else overclocked.
