    My msi x570 motherboard says that the chipset fan is disconnected in board explorer but I still have full control of it in bios, is this normal?

    I just bought a hyper 212 evo today for my ryzen 3600 and in aida 64 it just does not seem to have a steady idle under no load it keeps bouncing between 33c and 37c is this normal? Under load it stabilizes at around 72c is that a expected temp for a hyper 212 evo?

    Hello! After a long absence from this site I am finally back with a little status update for you. I ended up selling that computer I made back in 2018 And I Took a long break from the pc hobby in general mostly doing other things such as radio controlled cars, I don't know if you ever heard of traxxas. Then I tried photography, I still do that but I gave up RC because its too expensive. Well anyways I got a job since then and have been saving up money with the ultimate goal of getting back into pc building. Its been almost 4 years since I put one together. When I saw a Ryzen 5 with motherboard bundle on market place for only 150 I knew that it was time to make another budget pc bulid. (Here are the specs tell me what you think im sure you will agree it stomps on the pc I made 4 years ago)

    CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

    MB: Asus TUF Gaming B450 Plus

    RAM: 2 Sticks of 4GB ddr4 at 2666 mhz and one 8GB stick at the same speed totaling 16GB

    CASE: Next H510

    PSU: EVGA 500W 80Plus

    GPU: MSI Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB

    RGB: An rgb light strip my Girlfriend pulled off the wall.

    CPU COOLER: Stock

    STORAGE: Samsung 980 500GB SSD NVMe M.2

    Total Cost 550$

    I finally made my own PC! Sadly I had to give up my Dell T3400. But here is the specs. I will compare it to my dell just because...     My optical drive does not show up in windows or device manager for some reason so I checked on the connections and everything is ok I recently got a new motherboard as my old one failed I don't know what to do please help.

    Ok so here is the story I was cleaning off the old thermal paste off my cpu then I went to get my tube of thermal paste then I noticed something my tube was empty so im now using baby oil on my Q6600 and is getting temps average of 45c to 55c are they good temps?
