  1. fastsync? what is that? wow I'm learning a lot today, thank you guys
  2. please, can you elaborate a bit, I'm a bit new
  3. as the title says I'm planing on buying a new monitor this 4th quartal I'm stuck between choosing AOC ag251fz and Asus pg258q, aoc got freesync and asus got gsync the thing is if I decide to buy the asus one, I need to save up to 3/4 more month (maybe i'll finally able to buy it on january), If I decide to buy AOC one, I can buy it next october, no need to save up.. my rig i7 7700k gtx 1080ti 16 gig of ram 850w psu so I want you guys' suggestion on which one should I buy, does the gsync worth the price considering both has 240hz refresh rate? thanks in advance
  4. ok thanks guys, like really, you save me the hassle
  5. so I'm about to upgrade to z270 mobo ofc with a proper kabylake cpu , spesifically the tuf mark 1 https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/TUF-Z270-MARK-1/specifications/ or the strix z270f https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z270F-GAMING/specifications/ and i have in stock the wraith cooler i got a while back from buying fx 8350 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113415 so the question is, will the cooler fit unto the either one of those mobo?
  6. for now fallout 4 and overwatch, and nier automata in the future, and i dont think i'll leave overwatch and fallout 4 anytime soon, the modding really hooked me into it
  7. gaming performance wise, will upgrading the cpu better than the gpu?
  8. and yes I know if I upgrade to gpu first, it'll be bottlenecked as crazy, but that wont be a problem in the long run after I upgrade the cpu, right?
  9. so, i'll just straight forward for my system's spec -fx 8350 (bought early 2016) -asus croshair v formula z (bought at the same time with the cpu) -xfx r9 390 double dissipation (bought mid 2015) -8 gig of ddr3 ram -seasonic 850 modular psu (plat) i think other specs are irrelevant so I'm thinking about upgrading this (which eventually more or less the same as to build a new one) do you guys have any suggestion on which to upgrade first, the cpu or the gpu? -for the cpu, I'm thinking to upgrade to new i7 7700k (which of course i have to buy a new mobo and ddr 4 rams) -for the gpu, I'm thinking the new 1080 ti, either inno3d x4 ultra http://www.inno3d.com/products_detail.php?refid=283 or aorus https://www.aorus.com/product-detail.php?p=169&t=17&t2=&t3= at this point I have the money for either for the cpu set (the cpu, mobo and rams) or the graphic card both of them cost around the same in my country so money's not the problem I will be able to buy both of them by the end of the year, what makes me unable to decide is which one should I upgrade first?, the cpu set or the gpu? and the aim for my build is 2k gaming if any of you guys could give me any suggestion for this i'd be really grateful thanks in advance
