  1. Hmm, at the moment my computer can't get 120 on most games (670 FTW, i7 3770K, 8GB 2133MHz G.Skill sniper) so I'll probably save a little and go wit a 60 which is all I'll need.
  2. Yeah 50ms isn't that good for me as my PC's main purpose is gaming right now. I think I'll look at TN panels as GoodBytes suggested. Would you happen to know any for £200, or is that too cheap for a decent one?
  3. What I use my computer for is mainly gaming, playing a lot of FPS :PI'm from the UK so that monitor is way up at £370, which is a bit expensive. However the Asus you suggested is £340 so it's not that much cheaper?
  4. Hey guys, I have two inputs I need to use, my PC and my TV box. I have a small VGA monitor I got for free from a friend but I want to upgrade. So I would like to upgrade it. Am I better off getting a monitor/TV with 2 HDMI inputs, or one with HDMI and a DVI? Also what monitor would you recommend? Size can't be too large as it has to fit onto my desk and I'm going to use this monitor as well for other things when I'm gaming or watching TV. Not sure how well I worded that, but hopefully well enough that you can help? Thanks.
  5. Alright thanks, I'm from the UK too :D I'll add you :)
  6. Yeah I was going to ask if I should buy a kit or some parts, I do like choosing things myself, to make it unique apart from the other people who've chosen those parts xD I have no idea on choosing parts myself so I think I would end up asking on the forums :) I think I know what you mean, the performance increase of a 280MM isn't worth the price increase?
  7. Alright, the closed loops don't seem to have a point then, if they're just like air but more expensive, I'll probably go with an XSPC loop. I don't think I'll be cooling much else, not for a while anyway so I'll probably just be going with a 240MM kit, but the radiator can be changed separately if needs be can't it? Will there be much difference between a 240 and a 280?
  8. Also, just looked on the site at the prices again, and i must have read it wrong because they're expensive! So all of the above, also compared to the XSPC RayStorm 750 RS360? What'd the performance be like of all of these? Link: http://shop.xs-pc.com/xsp/XSPC-RayStorm-750-RS360-V4-Pump-WaterCooling-Kit_36406.html
  9. So I just ordered a 3770K, should get it Monday. I know I won't get much of a beastly overclock on it as I've read enough reviews to know about the temps. But I was looking to overclock it as much as possible and I know that water cooling will help with that, so what kind of performance would I notice between: A Corsair H100i An NZXT Kraken X60 RayStorm D5 RX240 kit RayStorm D5 EX420 kit Which will be the best noticable performance and which is better value? Thanks, James :D Links to the kits: http://www.xs-pc.com/products/watercooling-kits/d5-kits/raystorm-d5-rx240-watercooling-kit/ http://www.xs-pc.com/products/watercooling-kits/d5-kits/raystorm-d5-ex420-watercooling-kit/
  10. The FTW or the FTW+? Is the FTW+ worth the extra cost?
  11. Hi guys, so I already have an EVGA 660 SC, but I'm looking to upgrade in terms of graphics. Would be better off getting another 660, buying a 670 FTW+ or buying a 680? Which will be better value for money? Which will have better performance? My motherboard supports x16/x16 and I have the Corsair AX850 which is why I'm even considering SLI. Thanks, James.
