  1. My laptop has two storage slots. One for the nvme pcie ssd and one for a 2.5" drive. What I'm wanting to know is if all 2.5" drives have to be the spinning kind? I've seen some that aren't?
  2. Are spinning drives reliable? I'm not very tech savy, but do all 2.5" drives have to be the spinning type or is there another type?
  3. I have the ssd I just want to know the best hdd I can get
  4. Have a few questions about this laptop Just recently bought this laptop and wanted to know if there were any tips to settings and updating things out of the box? Which 2.5" hdd is compatible with this laptop/performs well? Any particular settings for optimum performance? thanks in advance!
  5. Definietly looking for something thin and light but I will consider this!
  6. Alright well what about a thin 15in with num pad?
  7. Looking for powerful ultra book with a full keyboard. Going to college for Electrical engineering so shouldn't need quad core or dedicated graphics but doesn't hurt to have. 2 in 1 is also considerable. Price around $1200-1500. 512 ssd and 16gb ram preferred.
  8. What do you use your machine for? Any thermal issues or anything like that?
  9. Most engineering programs are designed to be natively used on windows machines
  10. Id prefer a windows and traditional laptop
  11. Is ghosting still bad on the FHD panel?
  12. Looking for a powerful ultra book for engineering school. Would much rather just have something that can handle light engineering tasks and be great t everything else and easy to carry around. For intensive engineering work I will just go to computer lab. (EE major) about 1200-1500 budget with nice 2-3 year warranty included in price preferably.
  13. How much am I future proofing myself? Why not just i5 with 8gb ram and upgrade ram later?
