I ran Cinebench with Hwinfo64 up. Makes more sense Still Stock cooler. Only DOCP, and the rest is untuched.

Both hwmonitor and 3dMark showed 4.6, Will try with hw info

Hello everyone. Today im rocking a i5 4670k on a b85 chip with 16gb ram and a GTX 1070, but i feel that the CPU is bottlenecking. CPU is under 100% load and GPU is on like 80-100% Should i get a z97 and OC my CPU or should i i get my friends i7 4790k with a z97 board. What would be the best solution, i do not want to spend tio much money also. Also, will 32gb ram be a large improvement over 16? Im mostly gaming BR games, atm cod, will play some future AAA games aswell when they arrive. I have a 1080p 144hz monitor Thanks everyone for reading

Ive done some settings, ive put it in ASUS Optimal mode so it clocks at 4.6 and lowered the offset to -0.050 and i ran a game of King of the kill. VID where kinda steady at 1.279v but peaked somewhere in the game to 1.304 and were steady 78-80c but peaked at 83c Still something off i think?

Yes, i went in to uefi and set it to manual, but i never found where i set the v so i decided to set it to auto again, and i dont know what v i should set it to either. It came with the package, its not my wish to have one...

Sorry for another 7700K thread. I guess that there must be so many on here right now, ive read a few of them but no direct help, i am very new to clocking and setting your own volts and stuff, this is my first K cpu aswell. Ok, so as you figured i got a hot 7700K. I bought it a couple of days ago, i installed it and ran it, and i noticed that i ran quite hot so i began reading about similar errors and solutions and applied some but none helped. I got a 7700K Cooler Hyper TX3i ( i know its shit but i have ordered Deepcool Maelstrom 240T) Asus z270H 2x8 corsair Vengeance 3200 LPX I need some expert help, on how to maybe set the right volt, or some other setting or so that might cool my cpu down. Like i said, im very new to this kind of stuff. Im currently ideling in 40-50c. if i launch say...H1Z1 it runs up to 70c in an instant, and while ingame it runs to 80c, the fan turns on and off depending on what c the cpu is, so if i tab out, my cpu goes down to say 49, and the fan stops, while ingame again it runs. HWMONITOR reads my max VID is 1.296 since last reboot. i got windows set to balace, because if i set it to performance its never below 1.296 and goes even higher. Please i need help.
