Hello, I do a lot of 3D. I also do reverse engineering and 3D scanning using Leica RTC 360 and Simscan scanners (0.020 mm accuracy) https://www.artstation.com/tanel and https://vertz3d.ee/ I do also a lot of 3D rendering (Houdini (redshift), Lumion, Keyshot). I also use Fusion 360 and Geomagic Design X I need to buy new laptop (maximum 2800 euros) Scanner i use needs minimum: Intel Core Processor i7-10850H 32 GB DDR4 Nvidia Quadro T1000 (4gb GDDR6) Less then those settings scanner wont work. I am trying to find best option. What Quadro GPU to get with this scanner. There are so many Quadro cards with similar names it gets confusing. Can some one list them out from good to worse?

Due the fact that Enermax 360 fails to do the job (In idle temp is at 66 C) But now as decided to get new cooler what would you suggest getting? Something that i may install on this mb and would be able to cool also threadripper 2 as in future i am planing to update to thread ripper 2. Question is will the cooler fit as i have all ram slots occupied.

I got info that Threadripper idel temp should be around 35 and threadripper starts downclocking at 67C That seems to make sense as mine in idle is 65 degrees

I installed 1200 corsair psu and have same issue. What may cause this issue. Every time cpu gets hevier task it will go down on all core speeds.Cant trust the basic core temps and have to look at AMD Ryzen master info as amd reported it also that cpu and in bios reports due some faulty sensor 26 degrees higher temps then it actually is. Corsair RM850i is my psu. and i was thinking that may be system limits itself due the fact when it should work fully as when all cores work on full power it needs more power.

There was an issue with those coolers in past? What alternative to go for? What can fit here? As i have all ram slots occupied.

Well he is not very tech savvy person but same time i do not want to get him a phone that will break if he drops it + there is often a lot of dust where he works (clay-s he makes for tiles etc) all have a lot of dust and when phone is in his pocket it will face a lot of dust. Also water etc. So i preffer if it is water and dust resistant. For me popped up ULEFONE Armor 2 but then discovered that it is chinese phone. Durability seems to be good BUT i am afraid that it will work as those cheap phones (for example new samsung low price phones are soo damn slow i got one when i was working in one company. I returned the phone as it was in my opinion piece of shit) My own phone is Samsung S8 edge and it works fine but low end ones were crap- Because i have no information on rugged smartphones i created this topic. Price range i think 300 - 500 euros
