  1. Honestly? Neither did I. But I figured if one existed, this would be the place to ask about it lol.
  2. That's what I was thinking. Plus, 1080p with high settings looks pretty good, and I don't think 4k and the price is currently worth it. So, i'll stay in the 1080p range, and any suggestions would be awesome Thanks for the reply so far!
  3. This past Christmas, I built myself my very first RGB machine. Not heavy RGB, but just enough to make me feel good inside :P

  4. Hello everyone I am looking to get a gaming laptop for travelling and taking with me to game parties. I can stick in the 1440p and 1080p range, but if 4k is even worth it on a laptop currently, I would love the take on some suggestions I am great at building desktops, but laptops? I am a little foreign on lol. I just want solid gameplay on a laptop, so 60FPS and up. Thank you all ahead of time for the comments and suggestions, and I look forward to what comes my way!
  5. Thanks again to the feedback so so I have been able to narrow it down, but need a little more advice: 4K at 60hz, or ultra wide with that 100hz? Yes that Predator caught my eye lol, so which would be the smoother gaming experience overall? I play a lot of games like witcher 3, Andromeda, Old Republic, Battlefront, etc.
  6. Hello again, thank you to everyone for the quick responses i greatly appreciate the links inks and advice thus far. None of my parts are open yet, so as we go along if I should swap out any parts for better, please feel free to recommend! I know the 1080ti is a little overkill, but hey. At least I 1 year proofed lol.
  7. Hello everyone, first time poster here, love the YouTube videos and you all sound like the right guys for the right input Right, so I'm venturing out of 1080p gaming into the outer rim for 4K gaming. It's my first adventure into it, but with all the new technology available, especially in the monitor department, I could use a little advice on which monitor is going to be the right purchase for 4K gaming, or if a ultra wide would produce the better gaming experience. I purchased a bunch of parts already for my 4K build, and here is what I got so far: cpu: i7 7700k. gpu: GTX 1080 ti. ram: 16GB DDR4 PS: 850W (if I need more I can exchange for larger. I may do SLI) Thank you you guys for the help and recommendations in advance -Anthaleus.
