I hate the on-board audio but I love my old X-Fi sound card and wanted to know if a PCI extension cable exists? I got a PCIE to PCI converter but I need to extend the card away as it won't fit in my case.

I prefer a soundcard opposed to an external solution. I'm more into sound quality in music and gaming features are just a bonus. Thanks

Ok, I never liked how the cooler fit. There seemed to be a lot of play after it was mounted. I'll post back later tonight after I re-seat everything. Thnx

Correct me if I'm wrong but other than a poor choice/application of thermal paste isn't there just one way to mount the cooler?

I updated bios and still have issues. Would undervolting not take advantage of a stock 3900 without overclocking?

I attached a picture that might have enough info as I'm at work. New build using the wraith cooler that came with CPU and using Arctic paste spread evenly. 3200 DDR memory. Any ideas? Thanks.

So I unplugged all of my USB cables and it now works butter smooth. There was an updated for my Asus mobo.

Asus Crosshair VIII Hero UEFI Bios is super laggy with both mouse and keyboard. It's like it freezes every 4-5 seconds. Any ideas? New build btw. Ryzen 3900 CPU Thanks.
