  1. Hi, so I have Sony MDR-7506 headphones, because I heard great things about them, but my problem is that my onboard sound isn't the best, its Realtek ALC887, which is on the low-end from what I can tell, I was wondering if soundcard could improve sound and maybe even loudness, because right now, even my Redmi note 4 phone is louder with these headphones than my PC is. I need it to be under $100. Could you guys suggest anything of the sort? Also I don't know if internal or external would be better. PS:Sorry for possible grammar mistakes, not my native language. 2. Hi, I've built a new PC not too long ago, and I also bought a pair of Sony MDR-7506s, thinking that it will just sound and work great. Well it kinda does, it definitely sounds best of all headphones I've ever tried, but my motherboard has Realtek ALC887, which from my understanding is pretty sub-par, and playing through my phone the headphones are louder, than when connected to my PC. So I thought to myself that I should buy a sound card, but I'm completely lost in this department of tech... I want it to be ideally under $75. I've seen some Creative sound cards, but they all promote gaming and the today popular fake 7.1 sound, which I do not need nor want. I do want my headphones to remain as reference as possible. I'd be glad if you could help me with deciding. PS: English's not my native language. Shuppa
  3. Hi, so, I waited for vega and got what I wanted, A gtx 1070 equivalent. So I was wondering that I can use my old GTX 650 Ti 1Gig as a PhysX card, so I can enjoy the best of both worlds. Shuppa
  4. Hi, Im trying to build DIY google home, which involves my old phone being hooked up to charger 24/7 and being connected to set of speakers, my problem is that its on the other side of the room and Google assistant isnt catching my words correctly all the time, because its too far away, but i have to keep it there, can't move it. I'm searching for and app/program so that my phone can use my PC mic over the wifi so my google assistant can hear me. PS: excuse my grammar, its not my native language. Shuppa
  5. Yeah the 1050ti is in USD, that's why I ask if it's even worth it
  6. Hello guys, I can't decide if it's worth it to buy gigabyte 770 with replaced thermal paste - 10°C for $110 or 1050 Ti $180? I have a 650w psu so power is not a problem. Shuppa
  7. OK, btw its crazy how fast ppl here respond. thx very much. I'll choose ryzen then.
  8. Well, I want to render videos for my YT, when I get better internet I want to stream, but I also want to play CS:GO, Which as I said uses heavily only 1st core, like all OpenGL and directX apps.
  9. So, I was thinking about boosting OpenGL programs performace on ryzen, by overclocking only one of the cores, because OpenGL uses heavily only 1st core anyway, It would be awesome if someone could test it. I plan on getting 1700x but I play a lot of csgo, where every fps matter and ryzen isnt doing that great. I dont even know if thermally it would make any difference clocking one core higher(neither do I know if its even possible) what so ever, but it makes sense to me, that if only one core will be clocked higher it is not necessary to increase voltage that much and it could boost OpenGL performace... intel can deliver around 250fps more on csgo than can ryzen, but if this OpenGL thought turns out to be true I'll buy ryzen. PS: excuse my english, not my native language Best regards, ShuppaGail
