  1. Hey all LTT Forumers! I Wanted to make a post to sanity check myself on this... I Recently brought a RTX 3090 MSI Suprim X used for a good price, but I've been slightly worried about the temps, is 105c on the hotspot too high? I've left the power limit on stock, but i found limited it to 70% works well to keep the temps under control while losing about 5 to 10 FPS... I Purchased some K5 pro and Kryonaut Extreme just in case so I am ready to tackle a repasting job, but i know the MSI Suprim is a pain in the rear to take apart and put back together but since im out of warranty, is it worth it? The temps and power draw below is after 10 minutes in cities skyline 2 with 100k pop.
  2. Makes sense i think im going to wait with bench marking it for a while then! thanks for the help!
  3. That might be the best idea yeah... But in theory should this be able run for like 5 days until i can get a new one? or should i just leave it offuntil i get a new PSU?
  4. Yeah I read on this forum and other that it's fine but when it's so loud that you can almost hear it in the next room it feels like a fire hazard
  5. Hey all I just got upgraded to a 3080 TUF and a used cx750m PSU to run it... But I've never heard coil whine THIS bad before I know that GPUs and PSUs whine that's pretty normal but this is so much I don't dare let it run more the 5 mins... So is this save to use? Here is a video of the PSU https://streamable.com/1fbwri (don't mind the cables I'm still building lol)
  6. I Think the best solution is your 3rd option if it helps i also have some pictures of the AUX connector
  7. Hey all! I recently got a cheapo AMP from aliexpress in the listing for the item the seller failed to notify the ONLY output is speakers and it has BT, AUX and line INPUTS... but the AUX input is on the front of the AMP and that's perfect for my setup and id like to know if it is possible to rewire the AUX in to a AUX out (Still kinda a newbie in audio but I can solder and rewire stuff)
  8. Thanks ill try looking in my BIOS... And yeah i know running games my CPU is a bad idea but i just need it to run my monitor
  9. So i'm at friends lan party and i got my rift with me but GTX1070 only has 1 HDMI output and i need 2 since i also need to run my monitor... So i try and run off my CPU and i get no output... Anyone have a fix for this? Ram: 16GB CPU: i7-7700K Mobo: ASUS Z170I Pro Windows 10 (64-bit)
  10. Hello LTT Forum! I have been on the "flagship train" for a while now, I have had 2 i Phones a i phone 3g and a i phone 4s... Then i when and got a samsung S7 Edge and i have loved it since i got in back in 2016 but it broke yesterday and i need a new phone as fast as i can get it and as the title says i want a "non flagship" phone but i'm kinda lost... So far i have looked at the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s and the Razer Phone 2... I'm looking for a phone that will last for a long time and will be a new experience... The big problem that non of the 2 i have looked at so far has headset jacks that was kinda bummer for me... If you guys have had any good experiences with phones I am willing to listen whatever you got to say!
  11. Okay thanks for the help on that one it has been bugging all day
  12. Well VR and just your mixed gaming things
  13. Hello As the title says 16 GB 1 or 2, i have a mini mobo so 2 ram slots is all i have so getting 1 stick with (16 GBx1) will make it easy to upgrade in the future but 2 sticks (8 GBx2) is cheaper by 46 USD and i don't have a lot of money ATM any help?
  14. Thank you everyone now i have a better idea of what to do
