Here in sweden R7 1700 and i7 6700 are the same price.

My budget is 18000 SEK give or take 500. It will be used for gaming only It will have 1 monitor Periphherals are running a separate budget. I need an OS. Windows wiill be that OS. I am gettng my first ever gaming computer. I have been planning it for half a year. But now my Laptop cant go 10 minutes without overheating. And several keys arent worknig either. Which proccesor is the best for gaming?

I play a lot of CPU intensive games though. And I dont really want to play on more than High/Medium settings on 60 fps in the shitty games I play anyway.

From what Im seeing the FX-9590 has 4,7 ghz sped and 8 cores, compared to 3,6 ghx speed and 6 cores from Ryzen 5. For only 200 kr more. And the 2 free games. And the TDP is higher but from my perspective I dontt have a problem with that.

problem is that dosent come with the 1000 kr worth of free games I would buy anyway that AMDs do. But that is the other chip Im considering. The only thing making me not decide is the free Ashes of the singularity and Total war warhammer

that would be 1000 kr cheaper than the current one. Are they supposed to have the same performance?
