  1. I want to be able to say "Add $ to the homework list" and have the assistant add it so some list, whatever the app is. I've been able to do that with IFTTT, but I cannot find an app that I can use to read back that list to me if i ask my google home "What homework do I have?" Everything I've tried only adds to the list, not reads.
  2. Not really worried about the budget. Anything under 900-1000. Just not too expensive so that its excessive. Whatever you think is best in that range.
  3. Sorry, forgot to mention is a nvidia card. Will that affect the freesync and is there one you recommend with gsync?
  4. I'm looking to get a high refresh rate monitor to accompany new CPU/ nvidia GPU. I don't know much about monitors, I just want a high refresh rate and a picture that looks great. Any recommendations? (120Hz,144, 160, whatever. Also, nonultrawide and resolution doesn't matter, just above 1080p)
  5. Looking to cool a 7700k, maybe even overclocked. Do i need an AIO or will something like a hyper 212 be fine?
  6. I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but I feel like I'm seeing mixed answers. I'm looking to get a new CPU, and I don't know whether to pick the intel 7700k or one of the new ryzen chips (1700, 1700x, and 1800x). I see frame rate comparisons putting the i7 as the better chip, but I'm also seeing a lot of people saying to go ahead and get the ryzen instead. I use my computer for gaming, with things like discord and google chrome running in the background. No video editing, rendering or anything like that, so I just need a CPU that gives me the best game performance. Which one should I get and why?
  7. After some more research today, im thinking about the 7600k/7700k. I've read great things about them, and the new ram wont hurt. I may still wait for Ryzen 5, but seeing as it is marketed against the i5, i might pull the trigger on Intel.
  8. I would prefer to not overspend, but Im not worried about budget, just good CPUs
  9. Currently using: Old amd quad core (can't remember the name) 8gb of ddr3 ram Gtx 1070 (one of the reasons I need a new processor) I use it for gaming, and that's about it For gaming, what do you recommend?
  10. That's what I expected. As for my current CPU, its an old amd quad core that I bought years ago. I'm on vacation so I can't really check.
  11. I have been looking to upgrade my CPU for a while now, and the new Ryzen line is looking interesting. I have, however, noticed the FX-8350, which is better than my CPU and still fits in my AM3+ motherboard. I am asking what the difference is between the fx-8350 and the Ryzen 7 1700, and which one is recommended to use (I hope to use it for gaming, 144hz if that matters). Thanks
