I need a basic laptop just for the use of typing documents, watching movies and browsing internet. Battery life and build quality should be good and should be light weight. Budget not more than INR 25,000. Any suggestions are welcome.

CPU fan is also not working but psu fan is working and cpu is heating which means its getting power Main problem is still its that its not booting and not even bios screen is appearing...its just blank screen.. Any troubleshooting I could do ?

So my pc was running very hot and i thought i shoud clean everything inside the cpu.. I removed the cpu heatsink and fan and there was some green thing which was not thermal pate on cpu as well as processor top... I tried hard to remove it with cotton cloth but didnt work.. So I took a sand paper and rubbed it on both cpu and heatsink... Now when I turn on the computer all fans are running and motherboard LED is also on but NO DISPLAY is showing.. Even BIOS setup isnt opening.. I also turned PSU fan from pushing air outside to pulling air inside,,\ Also i didnt wear anything for static electricity.. Can anyone tell me something about what has happened and what can I try now,,, I tried CMOS update by removing battery as well but didnt work HELP!!

Also wanted to ask if parts are cheaper online or at markets ?

Using this forum for the first time..or any forum for the first time! Maybe you could help I want to build a pc for general use and average gaming as well..but my budget is limited to $400 or INR 25,000 I have recently started watching pc build videos and i"m quite confused about how to choose different parts... What I would want include: Latest gen Intel procesor or amd 8gb or more ddr3 or ddr4 ram Graphic card if possible Around 120gb SSD for storing OS 1TB HDD Compatible motherboard and cpu case Also power supply And if anyone could also give links for amazon to buy them would be a real help Any help to buid this pc would be much much appreciated
