  1. Sorry to ask, is the intel optane works on kabylake laptop?
  2. But is barracuda faster than the stock drive in terms of reading speed?
  3. Hi, i have a laptop with 120gb m.2 sata ssd as os(:C) and a 500gb 5400rpm slow toshiba hdd(:D) as secondary drive. The old drives often cause fps spikes in open world games(GTAV) and sometimes in NFS2015 the world just went black because of the slow read speeds. (i guess?) I want to get the seagate firecuda drive to replace the slow secondary drive. Q1. will changing it to the firecuda sshd can help me? (for all the shutters) Q2. If I get the firecuda and a external 2.5" enclosure bay, how do I clone the old drive to new drive? I have lots of programs and application in that (:D) drive. I dont think I can just copy and paste it.
  4. tested disabling he xb dvr recording stuff, no significant improvements. maybe it is just the full power of this laptop?
  5. thanks, will try it as soon as i reach home after work
  6. thats dota 2 i was saying, 90-100fps in this game with this card is considered normal
  7. nope, with 1050ti, it should be running around 90-100+fps. Plus i have searched for the wd2 benchmark for this card, they are running constabt 60+ fps with it in high setting, but i cannot(even in medium settings)
  8. so what can i do to help? this laptop isnt running the way it supposed to be. cpu and gpu aren't overheating when i was trying the games.(i just booted it up before the test)
  9. yesterday i got my new laptop on my hand which is dell inspiron 7567 1050ti version. unlike others, asia version have only with 4gb ram inside. Is it the cause of the fps drop for my games? I have tested dota 2 (around 55-60fps in high settings) and watchdogs 2 (around 35-45fps in high settings). i have set the power options to the max and updated nvidia drivers
